Sarah Palin: Removing the Boot from the Throat of American Businesses

You may know the Obama regime is up to their same old dirty tricks again. This time they are going after Boeing, simply because of where they are gearing up to build new aircraft. Boeing is a successful company, and it's newest model is selling well. They have facilities in both Washington State and South Carolina. The company has chosen South Carolina to expand production.

Now in normal times, this would be a story of a successful product and a celebration over all of the jobs this will create in the horrid Obama economy. These are not normal times. Like Texas, South Carolina is a "right to work" state. This means men and women are able to enjoy the Liberty and Freedom guaranteed by the Constitution. South Carolinians, like Texans, are free to work without having to pay "tribute" to corrupt unions in order to have a job.

In Obama's bizarro world, being a free person, rather than a slave to union thugs, is a sin. As suck, Obama is using the full weight of government to punish Boeing for daring to do what's best for the company, it's stockholders, and it's workers. All of this under the guise of the National Labor Relations Board.

Unions are some of Obama's strongest supporters. Not necessarily the rank and file, but certainly the thugs who run these outfits, who take worker's dues, and funnel them straight to the democrat party. The mafia style tactics being used by both the unions and the Obama regime are why we support a national "right to work" law that would allow American citizens to work anywhere and everywhere without the union thugs picking their pockets for the privilege.

Sarah Palin weighs in on what amounts to little more than organized crime and rackateering:

President Obama has the opportunity to prove that he cares about keeping jobs for working class families in America. He can speak up about his appointees at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) who have their boots on The Boeing Company’s neck. Does the President support the rights of businesses and working class people in right-to-work states to make sound decisions without government regulatory agencies unfairly punishing them?

Does the President realize the real concern here is not that businesses will choose to locate in one state over another? It’s that businesses will choose to locate in other countries because thanks to the Obama administration’s job killing policies and over-reaching regulatory boards the business climate in the United States is growing toxic. South Carolina’s Senator Jim DeMint reminded President Obama that the President said in his State of the Union address: "We have to make America the best place on Earth to do business." I agree with this sentiment, Mr. President. If we want to keep good paying jobs for working class families in the United States then you shouldn’t pit South Carolina against Washington state because eventually every state will suffer when businesses declare "enough is enough" with these tactics and decide to relocate in more business-friendly countries.
