This is a great interview with Joe Miller. This man gets it. Good old Bob Schieffer sets up a few straw men, the old "some say" ploy to call Joe a radical, but with our economy in free fall, and the Obama regime spending money at an unprecedented rate, something must be done. Joe knocks Bob’s imaginary friends down quite well while talking common sense.
Joe is also right about Alaska and her resources. As any regular reader here knows, Alaska is rich in natural resources. Developing those resources will go a long way toward making our nation totally energy independent for centuries to come.
As you know, the GOP establishment is meddling in this election, trying to somehow secure a win for Murkowski, who has already said if she doesn’t get her way, she’ll bolt to a third party. That’s HER seat damn it!

National Review Online caught up with Sarah Palin after the Restoring Honor rally Saturday in Washington and asked for her thoughts on the Senate race and Joe Miller:
Sarah Palin tells National Review Online that she is "very excited" about Joe Miller’s strong showing in Alaska’s GOP Senate primary. Miller, she predicts, will soon have a "final victory" after the absentee votes are counted. "Joe Miller is the right one for Alaska and he’s the right one to help put our country back on the right track," she says.
Miller, Palin adds, "knows that it is time for Alaska to start contributing more to the U.S. with development, with responsible development of our resources — instead of being a ‘taker state,’ being a contributor. With all of the behind the scenes nonsense from the GOP’s NRSC and Murkowski, we certainly hope Sarah is right. Joe Miller is the man Alaska and America needs representing us all.

If you are paying attention, the left wing women’s groups have been losing their minds because Sarah Palin, and other strong Conservative women, have seized the mantle of feminism from the radical left.
Sarah has proven that women can do anything, including lead the nation. (without even having to hold elected office) Sarah’s message is about strong values and empowerment. Real empowerment.
On the other hand, the radical left feminists have become tools of the equally radical Marxist-democrat party. They do not represent women whatsoever, except for their twisted views on the right to murder their unborn children.
These so-called women’s rights groups are silent when women in this country are attacked, and completely silent on the treatment of women by Islam, which basically enslaves women, treating them as less than human, complete with "honor killings," genital mutilations, and stoning women to death.
As long as it’s in support of Marxist-progressive ideology, these "women’s right’s groups" look the other way. This is why they were silent about serial sexual predator Bill Clinton, and adulterer John Edwards. Being a Marxist means never having to say you’re sorry.
Thankfully, Sarah Palin and her fellow Mama Grizzlies are winning this fight as well.
She certainly has them on the run. At the National Mall rally on Saturday, Sarah Palin delivered an eloquent and moving tribute to servicemen and a nonpartisan call to restore — not transform — America. I admit that I had some serious reservations about the Glenn Beck rally. To put it mildly, I’m no fan of Beck’s, and his rhetoric has given liberals plenty of fodder to paint the right as extreme and incendiary. But both he and certainly Palin conducted themselves well — sticking to general themes of faith and service. That the media could not find a single controversial statement is a tribute to the good judgment and restraint that was exercised.
Meanwhile, Palin clearly has the left in a tizzy. They have finally gotten it: she is redefining feminism. In the New York Times, two liberal feminists exhibit more than a little anxiety over the Palin juggernaut. To put it bluntly, they have Palin envy:
In the 24 months since her appearance onstage in Dayton, Ohio, Ms. Palin has enthralled pundits and journalists who devote countless television hours and column inches to her every Twitter message and Facebook update, while provoking outrage and exasperation from the left. …
The left should be outraged and exasperated by all this — but at their own failings as much as Ms. Palin’s ascension. Since the 2008 election, progressive leaders have done little to address the obvious national appetite for female leadership. And despite (or because of) their continuing obsession with Ms. Palin, they have done nothing to stop an anti-choice, pro-abstinence, socialist-bashing Tea Party enthusiast from becoming the 21st century symbol of American women in politics.
You betcha. You see, Palin has proved by example that a woman politician need not spout the pro-big government, pro-abortion, pro-welfare-state line. "Ms. Palin has spent much of 2010 burnishing her political bona fides and extending her influence by way of the Mama Grizzlies, a gang of Sarah- approved, maverick-y female politicians looking to ‘take back’ America with ‘common-sense’ solutions." She sure did, and she proved herself to be the most effective female politician in the country. Sorry, Hillary — while you have been playing errand girl for the Obama foreign-policy train wreck, Palin has ascended to the throne. (Nancy Pelosi’s days are numbered.) The left is waving the white flag of surrender:
It’s easy of course, for liberals to laugh off Ms. Palin’s "you go, girl!" ethos and increasingly aggressive co-optation of feminist symbols. We progressives discount her references to the women’s movement — not to mention her validity as a candidate — by looking down on her as a dim, opportunistic, mean-girl prom queen, all spunk and no policy muscle. …
If Sarah Palin and her acolytes successfully redefine what it means to be a groundbreaking political woman, it will be because progressives let it happen — and in doing so, ensured that when it comes to making history, there will be no one but Mama Grizzlies to do the job.
Wow.
And it’s really worse than the New York Times worriers admit. Palin not only trumped the left on style but she also managed to connect on nearly every issue — ObamaCare, bailouts, Israel, taxes, American exceptionalism, and the stimulus plan — in a way the president and his liberal supporters could not. For all of her supposed lack of "policy muscle," it was she who defined the debate on ObamaCare and she who synced up with the Tea Party’s small-government, personal-responsibility, anti-tax-hike message. Who’s short on policy muscle — the White House or Palin? Does "engagement" of despots, Israel-bashing, and capitulation to Russia make for a meaty foreign-policy agenda? Go read a Palin foreign-policy address or two. Plenty of meat and common sense there.
But I give the Times gals credit — they know they are losing the battle to discredit Palin. Now they need to figure out what to do about it. They might start with examining whether their agenda has as much sell as hers.
When you have the right message, a message that actually resonates with the majority of Americans, male and female, You will win hearts and minds. This is exactly what Sarah Palin is doing.

Ben Howe confronts a Progressive protesting the "Restoring Honor" rally yesterday. Funny how the event was at the Lincoln Memorial…. but the misguided protestor was lamely hanging out by himself at the Washington Monument. Heh.
This is three minutes of pure fun as Ben rips this guy apart and demonstrates the sheer lack of principles of the Progressive movement. At the end, the poor fool stammers and shouts "Well, you’re a RACIST and an IDIOT." Yup, when their intellectual argument breaks down after three minutes — Progressives pull the race card out as their last gasp of hope.
This is why I don’t associate with the Gay Left — straight, gay or whatever — this protestor exemplifies the Progressive movement; and the Gay Rights crowd are a keystone of the American Progressive movement.

Saturday August 28, 2010 will go down in history as the start of a great awakening. America is a great country, the greatest civilization has ever known. The only country where man has been truly free. The problem is, we have lost our way.
Our Founding Fathers based this nation, and it’s Constitution on the fact we all have certain unalienable rights granted to us by our creator. Unlike other nations before, or since, our Constitution was designed to restrain government and protect our God given rights, in order to maintain Liberty and Freedom.
Over the last 100 years, as the Marxist-progressive movement gained more and more control over government, we have seen our rights eroded, and our First Principles ignored. In order for the Marxist-progressives to be successful, they had to work at eroding the morals of the American people. They also had to get God, and any mention of God, out of the public square. To the Statist, Government replaces God. Man replaces God.
Sadly, the left has been most successful at this. As such, we have lost our way.
People who regularly watch Glenn Beck know that he is a man on a mission. Besides his regular weekly show, where he has been doing an amazing job of exposing the corruption that IS the Obama regime, Glenn devotes his Friday show towards educating Americans of their real history.
Glenn has re-introduced America to our leaders. He’s also setting the record straight, correcting the lies Marxist-progressives, who control much of education, thus what is taught as historical fact have been teaching. Glenn has introduced a whole new generation to our real history.
Glenn has had several Black history days, as well as Black leadership forums, including ones our friends Adrienne Ross and Clifton B have participated in. He’s had Hispanic forums as well.
The point is, America needs to not only learn the truth about it’s roots, but get back to them. This Restoring Honor rally is yet another step toward this. Though official numbers aren’t out yet, knowing that the area around the reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial holds 250,000 people, and the field beside it holds 350,000, both were full, and people overflowed all around, gives us some idea. So far estimates are from a low of 500,000 to a high of 1 million.
We weren’t able to attend, but did watch the event live courtesy of C-Span. It was the most moving event I have witnessed in quite some time. Beck promised the event would be non-political, and kept his word. He also request that attendees bring no signs, but bring their children. That’s exactly what they did.
Glenn had some amazing guests, including Sarah Palin, who was there not as our leader, but as the mother of a soldier. She told the story of three remarkable heroes and introduced them to the crowd. Dr Alveda King, Dr Martin Luther King’s niece was also there, and gave her own "I have a dream" speech that was amazing.

Of course, none of this was without controversy. In fact, the left and the media (same thing) lost it’s mind. The same people who are begging for tolerance for the radical Muslims who want to build the 9/11 Victory Mosque at Ground Zero, were outraged that the Restoring Honor rally was allowed to happen.
As this was the anniversary of Dr King’s "I have a dream" speech, a date Beck insists was a coincidence, the radical left was uniquely indignant. How dare all of these Americans talk about Faith, Hope, and Charity, as well as the content of character on the date of a speech that called for all men to be judged by the content of their character, rather than the color of their skin!
Race hustler Al Sharpton threw a counter event, but almost no one showed up. It was nothing more than a hate fest declaring the Restoring Honor rally was "stealing King’s legacy." If that sounds familiar, it’s basically the same argument the radical feminists trot out against Sarah Palin, claiming she’s trying to hijack feminism. The left only has one very small playbook.
Below is a video from Reason TV with host Nick Gillespie. It’s exactly what you expect it to be, but a little more fair than most reporting. I only include it because at one point Gillespie encounters a Black woman and acts stupidly. The best part is when he refers to her as an "African-American." It’s truly worth watching just for her response. She is an AMERICAN and makes that point quite clear!
I made the mistake of flipping over to CNN, as Fox wasn’t carrying the rally live, and I was quite curious at how the far left would cover this thing. (MSNBC was AWOL) I tuned in as Sarah Palin was speaking, but since all she was talking about was honor and heroism, that wasn’t working for the network.
Hilariously, a little later on, as Reverend C.L. Jackson from Houston, Texas was giving an amazing speech, instead of showing it, the CNN anchorette chose instead to go to their on ground "reporter" who spent the whole time talking about how there were nothing but a lot of white folks there!
The "whole lot of white folks" was a theme for all of the coverage, just as it is a staple for any coverage of Tea Party events, including those headlined by Black conservatives. It’s quite shameful. But par for the course.

Oh, and remember CNN? Not only are the biased hacks over there, their graphics department ain’t too hot either, as the folks at SondraKpoint out.
In closing, Beck’s Restoring Honor rally is yet another sign that America is in the middle of a great awakening. More Americans than ever before are engaged in what is going on around them. They are paying attention.They are taking action.
Folks understand now where the wheels started coming off the wagon. Now they are actively working to set things right again. Glenn is playing a big roll in this. His "Founders Fridays" are a must see if you want to learn some real history, and understand how the left has perverted that history for their own gain.

This is great video from Rush’s Thursday show. Here he talks about having to defend the Tea Party and Sarah Palin to some people, who want leaders and hate the establishment, but don’t really have the sense to know leadership when they see it.
It’s interesting to hear him talk about absolutely losing it with people in his own home who would rather believe the corrupt media’s caricature of Sarah Palin, rather than the truth. (Man I know that feeling!)
Rush has been a strong supporter of Sarah’s. As long time listeners know, Rush is not known to show John McCain a whole lot of love. In fact, he’s been a regular whipping boy for years. When McCain announced Sarah was going to be his running mate, Rush began calling him "John McBrilliant."
Rush saw what all of us saw, right from the start. Sarah Palin is the real deal.
One piece of wisdom Rush leaves us with: The left always tells you who they fear the most. It’s not hard to figure out, just by the intensity of the left’s attacks on Sarah, that she lives in their heads rent free, and they fear her the most.
Sarah Palin wasted no time in taking this thug on, with a hard hitting statement. As a strong supporter of hard working men and women everywhere, and a former union member herself, Sarah also called on the rank and file to “take a stand for freedom and independence and dignity.”

Union Brothers and Sisters, Join Our Commonsense Cause!
Two years ago almost to the day, I was thrilled to meet with union members at the Alaska AFL-CIO Convention in Anchorage to sign important job-creation legislation related to the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act. As a former card-carrying IBEW sister married to a proud former IBEW and later USW member, it was a great moment for all of us. Our Alaska union brothers and sisters helped build our state!
Many of them risked their lives to complete our infrastructure, including the Trans-Alaska Pipeline that stretches over treacherous mountain ranges from the North Slope oil fields to Valdez. By signing that job-creation bill surrounded by union members, I was paying tribute to them and acknowledging that they would be valued partners in the construction of Alaska’s long awaited natural gas pipeline. I was honored that day to receive a standing ovation from them for signing a bill that provided a Project Labor Agreement to bring good jobs to these good men and women.
Today, AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka came to Alaska (on a trip paid for with union dues) to preach the usual Beltway nonsense. There was a bit of the politics of personal destruction thrown around, and he mixed it in with the same old big government agenda that has been rejected in union halls, town halls, and voting booths all over our country.
I’m not sure why he’s attacking my record when I’m not the one responsible for the policies resulting in continued mass unemployment and a weak economy (that would be the man in the large white house on Pennsylvania Avenue). Among my “crimes,” the union boss cited the fact that I sometimes write notes on my hand (guilty as charged!); that I appear on cable television every once in a while to comment on the news (it’s called the First Amendment, Rich); and that my commonsense conservatism makes him laugh. Well, I guess that’s better than the failed leftwing big government policies of “his friend” Barack Obama, which makes the rest of us cry.
Trumka’s even worried I’m going to get violent against him. It’s kind of ironic that a union boss has the gall to accuse anyone of threatening violence. After all, we remember the violent attempts by SEIU to intimidate those who wanted to make their voices heard in last year’s town halls. And unlike Trumka, I never threatened that any effort to break a picket line would lead to violence. Come to think of it, neither did I ever hide behind the Fifth Amendment during a federal investigation about union corruption. Then again, I was just an ordinary, card-carrying union member, not one of the big shots who ended up, unfortunately, giving unions a bad name.
Trumka’s attempts to put himself on the side of the working man and woman would be more convincing if he weren’t a career union boss who’s spent most of his life in DC. No surprise then that his priorities aren’t the priorities of the average working man or woman, but of the Beltway power player. My fellow union brothers and sisters have had their union dues squandered for far too long by a few of the union bosses who work for partisan politics and not the good blue collar Americans who have to fund their cushy salaries.
Trumka purposely misquoted something I said in a speech I gave in Texas a few months ago. Let me clarify things for him: I never called union members “thugs.” You lie. I called some union leaders “thugs.” And I refuse to apologize for that because they have acted like thugs – at least in this day and age.
In the past there were many great union leaders who courageously defended the rights of workers. Unions were founded for all the right reasons! They were to give working men and women the clout to negotiate fairly with their employers and to fight for decent pay and working conditions. The unions of old would often end up fighting big government on behalf of the little guy.
Today’s unions seem to be big government’s most enthusiastic supporters. It’s turned into some nonsense when union bosses back the government takeover of the car industry, and the mortgage industry, and the entire health care sector. And with the help of big government they aim to push through card check legislation that some characterize as being unfair to workers, and even un-American, because of its insistence on stripping workers of their right to privacy with a secret ballot. And that’s not just me voicing concern over card check – ask current union members how comfortable they are with what some of their leaders are saying about the legislation.
To my hardworking, patriotic brothers and sisters in the labor movement: you don’t have to put up with the scare tactics and the big government agenda of the union bosses. There is a different home for you: the commonsense conservative movement. It cares about the same things you and I care about: a government that doesn’t spend beyond its means, an economy focused on creating good jobs with good wages, and a leadership that is proud of America’s achievements and doesn’t go around apologizing to everyone for who we are.
This November, you have a choice. You can go with the flow and merely pull the lever the way they tell you to. Or you can join millions of others, and take a stand for freedom and independence and dignity, while still being part of a greater working community.
Join us. I promise you, you won’t regret it, and Americans who want good jobs for our families will be better off for it!

When are these Marxist-democrats going to learn?
I believe a man would have better luck fighting a buzz-saw than going after Sarah Palin when she’s riled up. This union thug, Richard Trumka has stepped in it big time.
We say this more and more every day, but there is a reason why we strongly support Sarah Palin. She doesn’t take nothin’ from nobody. Other so-called leaders in the Republican are too timid. They allow, no .... they ENABLE the Marxist-progressives as they destroy our nation. When attacked they run. Sarah Palin doesn’t flinch.
Sarah Palin has the heart of a lion, and the fight of a grizzly bear. She is one of our nation’s great leaders.
Organized labor has turned into organized crime, run by violent, corrupt men who shake down employers, and exploit the worker, all for their personal gain.
Public approval of labor unions is near the all time record low. Heavy handed thuggery doesn’t help their cause one bit.
Sarah Palin is a lifelong reformer. I suspect reforming organized labor just got moved up towards the top of her list of things to do when she takes Office as President in 2013.Workers, employers, and the nation will be better for it.
Remember you useless, corrupt, union thug leaders, when your members throw you out on your asses, you have Richard Trumka to thank. He’s the one who pulled Mama Grizzly’s tail.
Union corruption and violence is nothing new. Been with us from the very start. We’ve written about it ourselves, covering such events as Barack Obama’s personal union thugs from the SEIU attacking Kenneth Gladney at a 2009 townhall meeting in St Louis, and the attacks in California.
In St Louis Gladney, a black man, was attacked by a horde of Obama’s purple shirted SEIU storm troopers who beat the man unconscious, stomping him all the while calling him a n*gg*r.
Labor unions are nothing more than organized crime, havens for Marxists-progressives (communists) and anti-American types. Their entire purpose is to shake down employers and members in order to enrich and empower the leadership.
And shill for the Marxist-democrat party, of course.
Anyhow, this thug leader, Richard Trumka, one of Barack Obama’s top labor advisers, decided to take a swing at Sarah Palin. As expected, he did this by spewing hate, lies, and suggesting violence. He’s a thug, it’s what they do.

And down in Tyler, Texas, she’s talking about — and I quote — 'union thugs.' What? Her husband’s a union man. Is she calling him a thug? Sarah Palin ought to know what union men and women are...
That’s poisonous. There’s history behind that rhetoric. That’s how bosses and politicians in decades past justified the terrorizing of workers, the murdering of organizers.....She’s using crosshairs to illustrate targeted legislators.
She’s on the wrong side of the line there. She’s getting close to calling for violence. And some of her fans take that stuff seriously. We’ve got legislators in America who have been living with death threats since the health care votes.
Obviously, this guy is a liar. We all know better than what this idiot is spouting. It’s funny, for all of the supposed "violence" from patriots like Sarah, and the Tea Party, it always turns out to be some left wing freak that is behind it all.
The latest example of this involves the firebombing of Congressman Russ Carnahan’s office. The media was quick to blame the Tea Party and conservatives in general. Turns out the culprit (allegedly) was Chris Powers who worked for Carnahan as a paid staffer. It seems that Carnahan stiffed the guy, owed him money. In typical loving, understanding far left fashion, Powers thought it best to firebomb the Congressman’s office as the best way to get paid his due.
Of course, when you side is led by people like street thug ... er ... "community organizer" Barack Obama, murdering terrorist Bill Ayers, and this major league thug Richard Trumka, what are you gonna do?

Even after he left the Union to go to the AFL-CIO, Trumka incited violence in the UMWA
* When Trumka and UMWA President Cecil Roberts came to Bentleyville, Pennsylvania in April 1998, fifty rank-and-file union members gathered outside the hall where they spoke to protest their leaders' policies. "Within minutes," wrote leftwing journalist Paul Scherrer, "a group of UMWA officials and their supporters attacked the protesting miners, ripping leaflets and protest signs from their hands. Several miners were punched, knocked to the ground and kicked repeatedly. [Richard] Cicci was hit with a piece of lumber and suffered a large gash on his head." "Richard Trumka," reported Scherrer, "refused to answer questions about the assault." In other words, by his silence he gave tacit assent to such violence.
Before he brands other people as using incendiary language AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka should look at his own house, because he is a union thug of the worst kind. Sarah Palin has never told people to harm others. On the other hand, as UMWA President Richard Trumka, used rhetoric that not only seemed to be calling for violence, but excused it after it happened.
David Horowitz’s Discover The Networks, a website every American should have bookmarked as a ready reference of all left-wingers, has an incredible amount of information on Trumka, including this about a money laundering scheme that involved some of the most prominent Marxist-democrats in America:
One condition of the AFL-CIO merger of 1955 was that outright Communists be purged from CIO unions. The AFL-CIO in 1957 instituted a rule that required any union official invoking his Fifth Amendment right (to avoid incriminating himself before a congressional committee) to be removed from his position. But when Richard Trumka twice invoked his Fifth Amendment right in a case involving a corruption and money-laundering scandal during the late 1990s, the response by AFL-CIO President John Sweeney was to purge the rule instead of the rule-breaker Trumka.
This case involved the Teamsters Union, whose President Ron Carey faced likely defeat in his 1996 run for re-election. According to congressional testimony, Carey agreed to raise $1 million for the Democratic National Committee if $100,000 could be provided to him immediately to finance his re-election campaign. In this shell game, as witnesses explained it, the Teamsters Union paid $150,000 to the AFL-CIO, the same amount which its Secretary-Treasurer Richard Trumka immediately thereafter gave from AFL-CIO accounts to the leftwing political group Citizen Action, which within days provided $100,000 to the Carey campaign.
Among those named by witnesses and investigators as involved in this scheme to illegally fund and influence a union election were Richard Trumka, Ron Carey, Andrew Stern, AFSCME President Gerald McEntee, Bill Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff Harold Ickes, and Clinton-Gore fundraiser Terry McAuliffe.
We certainly recognize the names above. McAuliffe is the former Chairman of the Democrat National Committee, and headed Bill Clinton’s multimillion-dollar legal defense fund during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Andy Stern, a communist, who just stepped down as the head of the SEIU, is also one of Obama’s BFF’s, and has visited the White House more than any single person since the Obama regime has been in power.
Obama, and really the Marxist-democrat party as a whole, is very comfortable hanging with organized crime.

Honestly, Im not sure what gets me going more, the fact this thug had the gall to trash talk Sarah Palin with a bunch of lies, or the fact this loser is one of Barack Obama’s top advisers. Wednesday night he had on Sarah Palin and the two talked about a wide range of topics, including the stunning victory in progress of Joe Miller’s over Lisa "Daddy’s Girl" Murkowski.
Also joining in are Lt Col Allen West, who Sarah endorsed this spring, and won big in Florida last night, as well as Arizona’s Jesse Kelly.
All three of these outstanding leaders shine here and show why we need them in D.C.

Mattie Fein is running against an entrenched Marxist-democrat, Jane Harman, whose husband Sidney Harman just purchased Newsweek. Harman, from California's District 36, obviously has a dollar advantage, but ads like this will most certainly help get Mattie some attention and get her message out there.
Harman has a lot of ethics issues, but owning part of a company that is selling sensitive materials to Iran is probably at the top of the heap. She's also on board with all of the Obama regime's disasterous policies, and is pushing for big cuts in military spending at one of the most dangerous times in world history. It won't be easy, but Jane Harman is most definitely one of the Marxist-democrats who need to be shown the door in November.

On Wednesday, the 9oth anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote, Sarah Palin posted a powerful Facebook note that not only spells out her endorsement philosophy and her battle plan, but also takes time to answer a rather silly attempt by the death cult that is Emily’s List to make themselves relevant.
Sarah also talks about one of the first death panel decisions, one that will effect women with breast cancer.

Today marks the 90th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment which granted American women the right to vote. Words cannot express the depth of gratitude we owe to those brave feminist foremothers who struggled and sacrificed, endured imprisonment and ridicule, and fought fearlessly to grant future generations of American women a voice. We stand on their shoulders. Our opportunities are their legacy; our achievements, their monument.

It’s actually pretty simple. Sarah loves competition. She knows it makes everyone better. She also knows far too many elected officials are in "safe" seats. This is especially true in the House of Representatives. Through a combination of gerrymandering and showering money on their districts, many congresscritters have turned what was supposed to be honorable and TEMPORARY public service into lifetime employment.
Until we can pass a constitutional amendment establishing term limits for Congress, what Sarah Palin is doing is exactly what we need. Everyone running for office should have a primary challenge, even the good ones. It makes them work for it. Makes them address the issues, and it serves to remind them that it’s not "their seat" they are sitting in. It belongs to the people, and they only sit there by our consent.
Sarah has a level of influence few will ever enjoy, and She is one of those rare breeds that understands how to use it. Politicians are generally too timid, more worried about holding on to their own power, to actually change the game.
It’s obvious Sarah cares more about righting this nation, getting our Republic back on firm footing, than her own political gains, which ... somewhat ironically ... is exactly why her own political future is so bright.

On this anniversary of women’s suffrage, let’s take a moment to be grateful for the diversity of the debate. Women don’t walk in lockstep with each other in politics, any more than men do. We should be proud of our ability to engage in a civil discussion and healthy debate. I know I am.
Unfortunately, I’ve recently come under attack for speaking up for sisters who seek to serve in public office. The sad part is that the attack comes from other sisters who happen to be on the other side of an issue that has been of great importance to American women from the time of our feminist foremothers, Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, down to today. I’m speaking of the issue of life.
I feel compelled to offer some advice to our sisters who like to throw stones at those of us who respectfully disagree with them on this issue (and they sometimes refuse to even countenance the fact that some of us can call ourselves feminists and disagree with those who claim the mantle of "real feminists").
First, ladies, it’s hard to take a critic seriously when they lecture you wearing a bear suit. So, it’s difficult for me to drum up much outrage at this latest ad. But, really, lying about a sister while wearing an Ewok outfit is no way to honor our foremothers on the eve of the 90th anniversary of their victory. But, that aside, I’d love to know where you got those get-ups. Halloween is just around the corner, and Piper and Trig would look adorable as little grizzly bears.

Didier relied heavily on his endorsement from Sarah Palin for his bid against Republican Dino Rossi.
Didier says although Palin didn’t come to Washington, her backing still helped his campaign.
Clint Didier: "Let me tell you what, don’t you take anything away from Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin is working her tail off for this country. She’s been all over this country to different states. She’s going where she thinks she can do the most good, I just thank her for her efforts."
He’s best known for his NFL football career. Late Tuesday night Didier said he hasn’t decided yet if he will run for elected office again.
Clint is a class act.
We also agree with Clint. Sarah Palin’s love of this great nation shows in how hard she is working to defeat the evil that has gripped this nation. She is the one leader who is working tirelessly to stop the Obama regime in it’s tracks and restore Freedom and Liberty.
Like George Washington before her, she may not win every battle, but you can bet she’ll lead us to the ultimate victory.
In the wake of Obama's big endorsement for the Ground Zero Victory Mosque, better known as the Cordoba House, I think it's time for a big "told ya so" to everyone who went nuts when sane people were pointing to all of the warning signs about Obama and his radicalism.
One had to really work at it not to see what America was in for if it elected Barack Obama.
We could go on for days about Obama's long time affiliation with the members of the domestic terror group Weather Underground, whose Marxist founders are still quite active. Then there is his hate filled, racist, anti-American preacher Reverend "God Damn America" Wright, whose "church" openly supports Hamas. Then there is his buddy Khalidi, a former spokesman for Hamas. (just to name a few)
Too many American's ignored the warnings. Again, one could go on for days talking about the whys and hows, and the stupidity of it all.
Anyhow, hopefully Americans are starting to open their eyes and realize what we are dealing with here.
I still remember people going nuts if anyone even suggested that Obama was a Muslim, or leaned that way. Of course, since being elected, Obama has gone out of his way to promote his Muslim brothers while ignoring American traditions of all kind.

It's interesting that a guy who thinks we have 57 states (or possibly more) and talks about Navy "corpse-men" can recall "the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent."

The latest from Public Policy Polling (PPP) shows a tie between the top Republican contenders for the 2012 nomination. At this early stage, that sounds about right. We are two years away from the actual election, and 16-18 months from the primaries. These polls are mostly entertainment for us political junkies, and damned near meaningless in real life, however, we do see trends that do matter.
Past the horse race, the trends are quite telling, from the internals of the polling:

Now these are Republican voters, so this is important. Sarah has consistently had the highest approval among Republicans going back to the first polling on this. Always in the 70's. What has happened though, is her unfavorables have dropped significantly. And when you look at the "not sures", they have been reduced to almost nothing.
On the other hand, Mitt Romney, the establishment's show pony has taken a big hit. His favorables have dropped below 60 percent. He is a 19 points behind Sarah. Romney's unfavorables have climbed to the highest among the group of serious contenders. (Ron Paul was included in the poll, presumably for comic relief.)
It looks like Romney's loss in Newt Gingrich's gain. Newt, like Sarah, has been out there and actually engaging in the public discourse, while Romney has been silent on the topics of the day. People today want real leaders, and Romney simply doesn't know how.
The interesting part in all of this is the fact that Newt, Huckabee, and especially Romney are all salivating at the thought of sitting in the Oval Office, while Sarah Palin has remained quite uncommitted, choosing instead to focus entirely on November 2010. In our mind, this is WHY Sarah has the highest favorability rating, and why she has always been perceived as a true leader.
She has her priorities right.
She's also right on the issues, which certainly doesn't hurt.
In contrast, latest polling show that Obama is continuing to crash and burn. At this point anyone with a pulse, and an R beside their name, will beat Obama in 2012.
Today's Gallup Daily Tracking Poll, which is based on a three day averaging of data, has Obama's approval at only 42 percent, with his disapproval at a whopping 51 percent. This is the lowest of his presidency.
Sarah Palin, appearing on Greta's show Monday night, live from Wasilla, Alaska talked about the Cordoba House, or Ground Zero Mosque, if you will:
As usual, Sarah was very straightforward on this issue. One point she made very clear: Both Barack Obama and the Muslims behind Cordoba House are too divisive. This project is ripping at the hearts of all Americans. It is a slap in the face to every decent person. We understand why the radicals want this thing built. It's not about "bringing tolerance and understanding." As Sarah said, she ain't buying it, and neither are we. There are 100 mosques in New York City. Let 'em work on tolerance out of all of those, rather than build this thing.
Though the Cordoba House seems to be dominating the headlines, the reason Greta made the trek to Alaska is she and Sarah are exploring ANWR, and the Arctic Circle. Sarah is on a mission to tell the truth about Alaska's untapped natural resources, as well as ANWR. As she shows us, this is not the "pristine" landscape the environmental extemists always portray in their TV ads and brochures. ANWR is very much a flat, barren, wasteland. Frozen tundra most of the time, and mosquito filled swamp the rest.

The video serves as a strong reminder of who we are dealing with, as well as what a prophetic leader Ronald Reagan truly was.
The arrogance of these Marxist-democrats is palpable. It's as if only they know what's best for you mere peasants.

The Reagan remarks in the RSC video come from the iconic 1964 speech made at the Republican National Convention entitled: A Time For Choosing, though over time it has come to be know simply as The Speech. In our opinion this speech should be required viewing by all Americans, and required study in schools. It's that imposrtant.
All of this is simply a reminder that all of those who love Liberty and Freedom need to be ever vigilant, every ready to stand up and fight for what is right, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.
