As Stacy Drake pointed out to readers a few days ago, potential presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty is yet another Big Government, liberal, establishment "Republican" trying to pass himself off as a principled Conservative.

As Stacy pointed out, not only did Pawlenty fall for the global warming hoax, he fully supported the nonsensical and highly corrupt concept of a cap and tax system. Stacy's report was an eye-opener, as it spelled out just exactly what sort of Big Government Statist this little known former governor of Minnesota truly is.

Stacy found that besides his ridiculous stance on carbon trading, and "renewable energy" as the savior of all mankind, he was also anything BUT a fiscal Conservative. According to the CATO institute, he was less fiscally responsible than Big Government types like Ed Rendel, former democrat governor of Pennsylvania.

She also discovered Pawlenty was a huge fan of RomneyCare, and especially the government forced individual mandate, a direct assault on Liberty and Freedom, if there ever was one.

Two weeks ago State Rep. Joe Atkins (DFL -- Inver Grove Heights) invited former Governor Tim Pawlenty to testify against HF 72 (Beard), a bill which calls for a repeal of a greenhouse gas emission reduction law spearheaded by Gov. Pawlenty in 2007. The former Governor did not respond.

In the absence of Governor's testimony, Atkins played a short video for the House Commerce committee at today's hearing which included several public comments by Governor Pawlenty's in support of renewable energy policies which HF 72 would repeal.

"Governor Pawlenty has shown the courage to stand for renewable energy and its job growing potential in Minnesota," said Atkins. "It seems appropriate for us to get his input before we dismantle legislation he signed that made Minnesota a nation leader in the emerging renewable energy economy."

Now these are democrats wanting Pawlenty to come back to them and help them further their cause. You see, clearer heads are prevailing, and they want no part of a destructive "climate change" bill. They want to undo the damage Pawlenty's misguided policies have caused.

Anyone who actually follows the energy debate knows that the so-called "green economy" has been a disaster for the nations that have went that route. Spain, which was touted by the environmental extremists as the "model of the future," almost destroyed the nation's entire economy with it's "green" initiatives.

It's widely reported that for every "green" job created, at least 2.2 real jobs were lost. And those "green" jobs cost the nation a reported $774,000 for each and every one created. It also caused industries to move from Spain because of incredibly expensive energy costs, a byproduct of "green" living.

Now Pawlenty was out there doing this in 2006, well after it was common knowledge Spain's little experiment was a disaster, and yet ....

If that's not enough, in Pawlenty's own state, "green" energy is a disaster. This report comes from the local National Public Radio affiliate, hardly a right-wing source:

We made a big deal a couple weeks ago about an in-depth analysis by the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis throwing cold water on the idea that "green jobs" will drive the new economy.

Among its points the Fed waived off a Minnesota 2020 report claiming that if done right, the wind industry "can create thousands of jobs, [and] revive the economic base of many Minnesota communities hit hard by the recession."

It doesn't work that way, Fed writer Ron Wirtz wrote: "As a job creator, wind power doesn't pack much punch...."

The report goes on to say "wind-turbine maker Suzlon Group is laying off its remaining 110 workers."

Pawlenty goes on to say that we must get away from "unsustainable" fossil fuels and move toward renewables. Never mind we use less renewables today than we did a half century ago, because they aren't economically viable.

In 2008 Kiplinger's reported:

... untapped reserves are estimated at about 2.3 trillion barrels, nearly three times more than the reserves held by Organization of Petroleum Exporting Counties (OPEC) and sufficient to meet 300 years of demand-at today's levels-for auto, aircraft, heating and industrial fuel, without importing a single barrel of oil.

Since 2008, estimates of our recoverable oil and natural gas reserves have increased significantly. Whitney Pitcher recently reported:

Alaska has billions of barrels of oil and trillions of cubic feet of natural gas. The Natural Petroleum Reserve in Alaska alone is estimated to have 53 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. The Arctic is estimated to have 90 billion barrels of oil and 1. 67 quadrillion (1,670 trillion) cubic feet of natural gas. For some perspective, that is 1,670,000,000,000,000 cubic feet of natural gas. Those kinds of numbers make even Obama’s deficit numbers seem small!

Leadership is about judgment. It's about intellectual curiosity. It's about being able to access facts and make sound, reasonable decisions that benefit your constituents, not harm them.

Let's review:

As governor, Tim Pawlenty fell hook line and sinker for a long discredited hoax, and then championed ideas, laws, and regulations in further service of this known hoax. Laws and regulations that would hurt his state's economy, as well as the citizens he served. If that's not enough, he also lusted after his own state run, forcibly mandated "universal health care" plan, along the lines of RomneyCare [an absolute disaster on every level] and ObamaCare.

Does this sound like someone who has judgment or intellectual chops to be the leader of the free world? Sure doesn't to me.

It does however sound exactly like another phony "Republican" who endorsed Al Gore's hoax head on, even doing a "public service announcement" in furtherance of a proven lie.

It don't get any nastier than sitting on a couch with Nancy Pelosi while shilling for Al Gore's global warming hoax.

People continually claim Newt Gingrich is the "smartest guy in the party" but I don't see it. Falling for a proven hoax, rather than following proven science is beyond me. Of course, this isn't the only sign of less than intelligent actions by the former Speaker and soon to be 2012 presidential candidate.

Folks remember Newt being on the wrong side of history in the NY-23 special election back in 2009, where he backed far left DeDe Scozzafava over Doug Hoffman. That was bad enough, but it got worse. He actually doubled down calling the Margret Sanger Award winning leftist a "moderate" and fought against those who tried to school him.

Of course, he stuck his nose in the Tea Party's business in 2010 when the NAACP started calling them racist, because the couldn't compete with the Tea Party Americans on ideas. Newt's brilliant idea was for the Tea Party leaders to sit down with the NAACP's leader. All this would have done was give NAACP's claim legitimacy.

Newt is still flirting with a 2012 run, having pushed back his announcement schedule. Well, he can run, but he can't hide [from his troubling past].

NASA's James Hansen: America's Democracy Is Hurting Our Chances To Push The Global Warming Hoax, Calls For Economic Boycott!

If one needs more proof that democrats are nothing but crazed totalitarians who believe only they have the answers, and should be allowed to rule by decree, rather than allow America's form of republican form of government work, you need to look no further than the hucksters pushing the global warming hoax.

We all know the real reason the left is pushing this lie, and it has nothing to do with the environment. The environmental movement was hijacked long ago by far left radicals who saw it as a way to re-distribute wealth through a cap and tax scheme, one that would make investors like Barack Obama, Maurice Strong, Al Gore, and others, trillions of dollars, while at the same time destroying America's economy.

One of the biggest frauds is NASA's James Hansen. Hansen has willfully manipulated data, lied to the American people, and done just about everything possible to push the fairy tale of global warming on the public. Thankfully the American people are smarter than that, and reject the nonsense of man-made global warming outright.

Now it seems that Hansen is so upset that the people have spoken, he's calling for an economic boycott of America!

NASA's Hansen prefers rule by decree to fight 'global warming'

November's election made it quite clear that the people of the United States do not want to radically change our society in the name of global warming. Pretty much every close House race went to the Republicans, while the Democrats won all the Senate squeakers. The difference? The House on June 26, 2009, passed a bill limiting carbon-dioxide emissions and getting into just about every aspect of our lives. The Senate did nothing of the sort.

The nation's most prominent publicly funded climatologist is officially angry about this, blaming democracy and citing the Chinese government as the "best hope" to save the world from global warming. He also wants an economic boycott of the U.S. sufficient to bend us to China's will.

NASA laboratory head James Hansen's anti-democracy rants were published while he was on a November junket in China, but they didn't get much attention until recently. On Jan. 12, the hyperprolific blogger Marc Morano put them on his Climate Depot site, and within hours, the post went viral. In a former life, Mr. Morano was chief global-warming researcher for Sen. James M. Inhofe, Oklahoma Republican.

According to Mr. Hansen, compared to China, we are "the barbarians" with a "fossil-money- 'democracy' that now rules the roost," making it impossible to legislate effectively on climate change. Unlike us, the Chinese are enlightened, unfettered by pesky elections. Here's what he blogged on Nov. 24:

"I have the impression that Chinese leadership takes a long view, perhaps because of the long history of their culture, in contrast to the West with its short election cycles. At the same time, China has the capacity to implement policy decisions rapidly. The leaders seem to seek the best technical information and do not brand as a hoax that which is inconvenient."

Has this guy ever heard of the Gang of Four? Or the Cultural Revolution, which killed those who were inconvenient? Or the Great Leap Forward, which used the best technical information to determine that a steel mill in every backyard was a good idea?

Mr. Hansen has another idea to circumvent our democracy. Because Congress is not likely to pass any legislation making carbon-based energy prohibitively expensive, he proposed, in the South China Morning Post, that China lead a boycott of our economy:

"After agreement with other nations, e.g., the European Union, China and these nations could impose rising internal carbon fees. Existing rules of the World Trade Organization would allow collection of a rising border duty on products from all nations that do not have an equivalent internal carbon fee or tax.

"The United States then would be forced to make a choice. It could either address its fossil-fuel addiction ... or ... accept continual descent into second-rate and third-rate economic well-being."

The WTO, in fact, has not "ruled" that it can impose environmental tariffs of any kind, much less those of such magnitude that they would destroy the world's largest economy.

People like Hansen are dangerous. In their zeal to implement radical plans that would do nothing but line the pockets of the elite, and destroy America, they actively work to undermine the Republic.

As Micheals points out, the China that Hansen loves so much, just executes people who get in the government's way. Is this what Hansen is advocating for America?

He's most certainly advocating the elimination of our Republic as it stands. The fact that the United States is a representative republic, one where the people have a say, frustrates totalitarians like Hansen, as well as most of the democrat party.

It angers them that they actually have to follow the will of the people, not their own whims. Who do we think we are! The democrats like Hansen are much more "enlightened" that us mere mortals. [or so they think] America needs a master who can determine what is best for us, as obviously we are incapable of caring for ourselves!

Science is a wonderful thing, and America should support it, but when we find radicals in the scientific community who use their positions to push an ideology, instead of scientific facts, they should be removed from their positions and replaced with competent people who will use their abilities to benefit mankind, not enslave it.

Hansen is advocating the destruction of America and our economy if he doesn't get his way. Rather than allowing this, how about we destroy Hansen's economy, and demand he be fired from NASA! 

Cancun: UN Climate “Experts” Proven Too Ignorant To Be Allowed To Talk About “Climate Change”

At the recently concluded United Nations Conference on Climate Change [COP16] that was held in Cancun, Mexico, delegates proved two things: One, their real agenda is to destabilize the United States, and two, they are too ignorant to be involved with discussion of the earth's climate.

Especially for the conference, which was opened with prayers to the Mayan Moon Goddess, [I kid you not] CFACT students created two mock-petitions to test U.N. Delegates. The first asked participants to help destabilize the United States economy, the second to ban dihydrogen monoxide. To a person, when approached by the students from CFACT, these elite delegates from the United Nations Climate Change Conference signed a petition to ban this deadly substance without batting an eye.

Ten trillion dollars. That’s the conservative estimate of the amount of money Barack Obama, Albert Gore Jr., and a whole cast of criminals stand to make yearly (gross) off of the greatest scam in human history: "global warming."

If you have ever sat back, scratching your head and wondering why the Marxists are pushing for a "cap and trade" bill that would not only make energy costs "necessarily skyrocket," to quote Barack Obama, but do absolutely nothing to effect fictional "climate change, " one way or the other, you are about to find out.

We have long known this Marxist idea was nothing more than a continuation of the communist desire to "spread the wealth" by forcibly stealing from those who create and earn, and giving to those that don’t. This is an inbred mental defect that can’t be cured, only contained, the most effective way being: not to elect these evil, corrupt bastards in the first place!

When we first learned of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) we smelled a rat. No one has been more radical than Barack Obama when it comes to pushing the "global warming" hoax, and the "cap and trade" scheme. Being based in Chicago, common sense told us that Obama was somehow involved, and it was as corrupt as the day is long.

It took Glenn Beck to put it all together, and he has done a remarkable job of spelling it all out. In the videos below, Glenn documents Obama’s ties to the multi-trillion dollar carbon trading scam, Goldman Sachs, the Joyce Foundation, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers' brother, Al Gore, George Soros, Maurice Strong and a whole cast of nerdowells.

Beck does a great job of connecting the dots here, as well as spelling out the scam itself. It’s quite interesting to note that all of the Marxist-democrats were pounding Goldman Sachs in their "show trial" for their handling of derivatives, a "synthetic" financial product, created out of thin air. Never mind it was the Marxist-democrat Party controlled Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac who were involved in the creation of this product, and President Bill Clinton who sanctioned it.

Even Obama’s boss, George Soros, got in on the act writing an essay on his website speaking to the dangers of derivatives.

And yet, this is what carbon trading is, in a way. You are not buying a real product, or producing a benefit. Trading carbon credits can best be described as a "sin tax" with the "sinner" being able to purchase the ability to continuing "sinning," without stopping the "sinful behavior" in any way whatsoever. You are simply redistributing wealth. In this case, those who actually produce will be forced to purchase the right to continue to produce from those who don’t produce. A real triumph for the glorious communist revolution!

But stealing money from the producers, and giving it to the non-producers is only half the story. These carbon credits will have to be tracked and traded. These credits will be treated as any other commodity, and traded on the open market. This is where the Chicago Climate Exchange comes in. They will be the only exchange for trading these credits and will make hefty commissions buying and selling these credits. (They get paid coming and going)

Energy prices will "necessarily skyrocket" because of two factors. One, because producers will have to purchase these credits, adding to the cost of doing business, a cost that will be passed on to the consumer, and two, these producers will be forced to buy the privilege of continuing to produce, from the Chicago Climate Exchange, which will raise the cost of doing business even more, again this will be passed on to the consumer.

This is where Obama, and the rest of what Beck is calling Crime, Incorporated come in. Conservative estimates are Obama, Gore and the other scam artists involved in this deal will gross ten trillion dollars yearly, selling nothing but thin air.

They are lengthy, about 10 minutes each, but watch Glenn as he systematically spells out the entire scam. Pay particular attention to the "shadowy figure" he introduces partway into all of this.













As you see it’s pretty easy to understand why, despite mounting evidence that every single "scientific calculation" declaring the existence of "global warming" is fraudulent, much of it deliberately skewed to show a result that doesn’t exist, Obama, Gore, and a whole host of corrupt-o-crats are pushing harder than ever for a "fix" to a non-existent problem.

Ten trillion dollars is a whole lot of money to be made for essentially doing nothing.

Good news to know that the truth will always out—even when you’re Barack Obama.

"Obama Years Ago Helped Fund Carbon Program He Is Now Pushing Through Congress" is a FOXNews story by Ed Barnes. In short, "While on the board of a Chicago-based charity, Barack Obama helped fund a carbon trading exchange that will likely play a critical role in the cap-and-trade carbon reduction program he is now trying to push through Congress as president."

The charity was the Joyce Foundation on whose board of directors Obama served and which gave nearly $1.1 million in two separate grants that were "instrumental in developing and launching the privately-owned Chicago Climate Exchange, which now calls itself "North America’s only cap and trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide."

And that’s only the beginning of this tawdry tale, Mr. Barnes.

The "privately-owned" Chicago Climate Exchange is heavily influenced by Obama cohorts Al Gore and Maurice Strong.

For years now Strong and Gore have been cashing in on that lucrative cottage industry known as man-made global warming.

Strong is on the board of directors of the Chicago Climate Exchange, Wikipedia-described as "the world’s first and North America’s only legally binding greenhouse gas emission registry reduction system for emission sources and offset projects in North America and Brazil."

Gore, self-proclaimed Patron Saint of the Environment, buys his carbon off-sets from himself—the Generation Investment Management LLP, an independent, private, owner-managed partnership established in 2004 with offices in London and Washington, D.C., of which he is both chairman and founding partner. The Generation Investment Management business has considerable influence over the major carbon credit trading firms that currently exist, including the Chicago Climate Exchange.

Strong, the silent partner, is a man whose name often draws a blank on the Washington cocktail circuit. Even though a former Secretary General of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (the much hyped Rio Earth Summit) and Under-Secretary General of the United Nations in the days of an Oil-for-Food beleaguered Kofi Annan, the Canadian born Strong is little known in the United States. That’s because he spends most of his time in China where he he has been working to make the communist country the world’s next superpower. The nondescript Strong, nonetheless is the big cheese in the underworld of climate change and is one of the main architects of the failing Kyoto Protocol.

Full credit for the expose on the business partnership of Strong and Gore in the cap-and-trade reduction scheme should go to the investigative acumen of the Executive Intelligence Review (EIR).

The tawdry tale of the top two global warming gurus in the business world goes all the way back to Earth Day, April 17, 1995 when the future author of "An Inconvenient Truth" travelled to Fall River, Massachusetts, to deliver a green sermon at the headquarters of Molten Metal Technology Inc. (MMTI). MMTI was a firm that proclaimed to have invented a process for recycling metals from waste. Gore praised the Molten Metal firm as a pioneer in the kind of innovative technology that can save the environment, and make money for investors at the same time.

"Gore left a few facts out of his speech that day," wrote EIR. "First, the firm was run by Strong and a group of Gore intimates, including Peter Knight, the firm’s registered lobbyist, and Gore’s former top Senate aide."

(Fast-forward to the present day and ask yourself why it is that every time someone picks up another Senate rock, another serpent comes slithering out).

Second, the company had received more than $25 million in U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) research and development grants, but had failed to prove that the technology worked on a commercial scale. The company would go on to receive another $8 million in federal taxpayers’ cash, at that point, its only source of revenue.

With Al Gore’s Earth Day as a Wall Street calling card, Molten Metal’s stock value soared to $35 a share, a range it maintained through October 1996. But along the way, DOE scientists had balked at further funding. When in March 1996, corporate officers concluded that the federal cash cow was about to run dry, they took action: Between that date and October 1996, seven corporate officers—including Maurice strong—sold off $15.3 million in personal shares in the company, at top market value. On Oct. 20, 1996—a Sunday—the company issued a press release, announcing for the first time, that DOE funding would be vastly scaled back, and reported the bad news on a conference call with stockbrokers.

On Monday, the stock plunged by 49%, soon landing at $5 a share. By early 1997, furious stockholders had filed a class action suit against the company and its directors. Ironically, one of the class action lawyers had tangled with Maurice strong in another insider trading case, involving a Swiss company called AZL Resources, chaired by Strong, who was also a lead shareholder. The AZL case closely mirrored Molten Metal, and in the end, Strong and the other AZL partners agreed to pay $5 million to dodge a jury verdict, when eyewitness evidence surfaced of Strong’s role in scamming the value of the company stock up into the stratosphere, before selling it off.

In 1997, Strong went on to accept from Tongsun Park, who was found guilty of illegally acting as an Iraqi agent, $1 million from Saddam Hussein, which was invested in Cordex Petroleum Inc., a company he owned with his son, Fred.

These are the leaders in the Man-made Global Warming Movement, who three years later were to be funded by the man who was to become President of the United States of America.

If we follow the time line on where Obama was during the funding of the Chicago Climate Exchange, he was still a professor at the University of Chicago Law School teaching constitutional law, with his law license becoming inactive a year later in 2002.

It may be interesting to note that the Chicago Climate Exchange in spite of its hype, is a veritable rat’s nest of cronyism. The largest shareholder in the Exchange is Goldman Sachs. Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley is its honorary chairman, The Joyce Foundation, which funded the Exchange also funded money for John Ayers’ Chicago School Initiatives. John is the brother of William Ayers.

What a flap when it was discovered that the senator from Chicago had nursed on Saul Alinsky’s milk, had his political career launched at a coffee party held by domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, and sat for 20 years, uncomplaining in front of the "God-dam-America" pulpit of resentment-challenged Jeremiah Wright.

Folk were naturally outraged that the empty suit who would go on to become TOTUS was spawned from such anti-American activism.

But the media should have been hollering, "Stop Thief!" instead.

The same Chicago Climate Exchange promoting public rip-off was funded by Obama before he was POTUS.

Even as man-made global warming is being exposed as a money-generating hoax, Obama is working feverishly to push the controversial cap-and-trade carbon reduction scheme through Congress.

Obama was never the character he created for himself in the fairy-tale version in "Dreams of My Father". He’s the agent of Change and Hope for cohorts making money down at the Chicago Climate Exchange.

The Barbarians are pushing at the gate of the Global Warming fraud, and to borrow a line from children playing Hide and Seek, Here they come, ready or not!

These are world class crooks we are dealing with here, and these plans have been in motion for quite some time. As you can easily see, hyping the "global warming" scam is nothing more than a scheme by a very few über corrupt Marxists who want to gain unbelievable wealth for themselves and their cronies, as well as the complete and total domination over all mankind.

This is nothing short of pure evil, and this group wishes to build a worldwide power base that absolutely no one will be able to escape the reach of. It’s a diabolical scheme that will not only destroy the United States, but every civilized nation on earth. It will wipe out the very concept of personal Liberty and Freedom world wide. The entire world will be little more than slaves to the whims of a few deranged sociopaths whose desire for wealth and power is without limit.

The $10 Trillion Climate Fraud

Cap-And-Trade: While senators froth over Goldman Sachs and derivatives, a climate trading scheme being run out of the Chicago Climate Exchange would make Bernie Madoff blush. Its trail leads to the White House.

Lost in the recent headlines was Al Gore's appearance Monday in Denver at the annual meeting of the Council of Foundations, an association of the nation's philanthropic leaders.

"Time's running out (on climate change)," Gore told them. "We have to get our act together. You have a unique role in getting our act together."

Gore was right that foundations will play a key role in keeping the climate scam alive as evidence of outright climate fraud grows, just as they were critical in the beginning when the Joyce Foundation in 2000 and 2001 provided the seed money to start the Chicago Climate Exchange. It started trading in 2003, and what it trades is, essentially, air. More specifically perhaps, hot air.

The Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) advertises itself as "North America's only cap-and-trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide." Barack Obama served on the board of the Joyce Foundation from 1994 to 2002 when the CCX startup grants were issued. As president, pushing cap-and-trade is one of his highest priorities. Now isn't that special?

Few Americans have heard of either entity. The Joyce Foundation was originally the financial nest egg of a widow whose family had made millions in the now out-of-favor lumber industry.

After her death, the foundation was run by philanthropists who increasingly dedicated their giving to liberal causes, including gun control, environmentalism and school changes.

Currently, CCX members agree to a voluntary but legally binding agreement to regulate greenhouse gases.

The CCX provides the mechanism in trading the very pollution permits and carbon offsets the administration's cap-and-trade proposals would impose by government mandate.

Thanks to Fox News' Glenn Beck, we have learned a lot about CCX, not the least of which is that its founder, Richard Sandor, says he knew Obama well back in the day when the Joyce Foundation awarded money to the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where Sandor was a research professor.

Sandor estimates that climate trading could be "a $10 trillion dollar market." It could very well be, if cap-and-trade measures like Waxman-Markey and Kerry-Boxer are signed into law, making energy prices skyrocket, and as companies buy and sell permits to emit those six "greenhouse" gases.

So lucrative does this market appear, it attracted the attention of London-based Generation Investment Management, which purchased a stake in CCX and is now the fifth-largest shareholder.

As we noted last year, Gore is co-founder of Generation Investment Management, which sells carbon offsets of dubious value that let rich polluters continue to pollute with a clear conscience.

Other founders include former Goldman Sachs partner David Blood, as well as Mark Ferguson and Peter Harris, also of Goldman Sachs. In 2006, CCX received a big boost when another investor bought a 10% stake on the prospect of making a great deal of money for itself. That investor was Goldman Sachs, now under the gun for selling financial instruments it knew were doomed to fail.

The actual mechanism for trading on the exchange was purchased and patented by none other than Franklin Raines, who was CEO of Fannie Mae at the time.

Raines profited handsomely to the tune of some $90 million by buying and bundling bad mortgages that led to the collapse of the American economy. His interest in climate trading is curious until one realizes cap-and-trade would make housing costlier as well.

Amazingly, none of these facts came up at Senate hearings on Goldman Sachs' activities, which may be nothing more than Ross Perot's famous "gorilla dust," meant to distract us from the real issues.

The climate trading scheme being stitched together here will do more damage than Goldman Sachs, AIG and Fannie Mae combined. But it will bring power and money to its architects.

Lest you forget the communistic "spread the wealth" and "economic justice" angle to all of this, here’s a bit of video of Obama’s head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Lisa Jackson. Notice, she isn’t saying much about actually protecting the environment, but sure is interested in "gettin’ paid!"

London-based Generation Investment Management (GIM), realizing this was a license to print money, purchased a significant stake in CCX. (fifth largest shareholder) GIM was founded by none other than former Vice President, and chief "global warming" hoaxer, Albert Gore, Jr., along with a cabal of former and present Goldman Sachs people such as David Blood, a former Goldman executive, as well as Mark Ferguson, and Peter Harris, who are still part of Goldman Sachs, just to name a few. Franklin Raines, perhaps one of the most crooked men alive, the man who stole $90 million dollars, for himself, while head of Fannie Mae...by cooking the books, a deed that most certainly helped cause the housing collapse and economic hardships we are in now, used taxpayer money to buy the technology to measure and manage "carbon." The "big board." The patent for this nonsense was granted the day after Obama won the presidential election. More reading here.

GIM, the collaboration between Al Gore and the Goldman Sachs people owns 10 percent of CCX, and it’s potential $10 trillion yearly take, Goldman Sachs also owns 10 percent of CCX. This is an incredible weave of corruption, deceit, and greed. Remember when Obama said last week that at some point one has "made enough money" ? Obviously this vile concept doesn’t apply to Obama himself or his crooked friends.

There is only one way to stop this nightmare from reaching it’s full potential, and the destruction of civil society as we know it, and that is to make sure no legislation mandating cap and tax, or any other "climate change" tomfoolery ever comes to fruition.

With the enviro-moonbattery that is being ginned up over the tragedy in the Gulf, you can bet Obama and his co-conspirators will be working at breakneck speed to get the legislation in place that will make them wealthy beyond all description, and enslave mankind to their will for all eternity.

This must be stopped and stopped now. In a just society, men like Al Gore, George Soros, Barack Obama and the rest of this criminal enterprise, would be thrown in a dark prison to rot, never to see the light of day again.

I’m not sure we can make that happen, but we can expose these people and make sure none of their plans come to fruition. We can then start voting all of those who sympathize with this nonsense out of office until there are no more Marxists, progressives, or any other corrupt beings serving in any elected office, at any level. This is the only way we can save the nation, and the world.

Sarah Palin Takes On All Climategate Deniers

Whew! Man, that Sarah Palin sure has started a real firestorm now that she has attacked the Holy Church of Global Warming! It’s one thing to knock ObamaCare on it’s backside, there are only billions of dollars in payoffs and corruption riding on that deal. But the global warming hustle truly is the whole enchilada!

Not billions, but trillions of dollars will change hands. Government control like you’ve never even dreamed of will come to pass. Taxes will flow into incompetent government hands like never before. Energy will "necessarily skyrocket."







Of course, the real story is all of the money that will be made trading "carbon credits." Al Gore, the Bernie Madoff of the climate change movement, has made hundreds of millions of dollars already off this scam, and stands to make billions.

As I wrote in an earlier piece, Obama and his friends also stand to make out like bandits if cap and trade laws are enacted. The Chicago Climate Exchange is already up and running, and ready to go when all of these insane laws are enacted. Of course, being Chicago, there is absolutely, positively no corruption going on with this deal. Uh huh. There’s this bridge for sale that you just must see if you believe that one!

Just to bring everyone up to speed. If you remember the failed, disgraced Governor from California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, decided to go off on Sarah for her resent stance on the hoax, the greatest lie ever told. Sarah, in what is her usual style, fired right back with this:

Why is Governor Schwarzenegger pushing for the same sorts of policies in Copenhagen that have helped drive his state into record deficits and unemployment? Perhaps he will recall that I live in our nation’s only Arctic state and that I was among the first governors to create a sub-cabinet to deal specifically with climate change. While I and all Alaskans witness the impacts of changes in weather patterns firsthand, I have repeatedly said that we can’t primarily blame man’s activities for those changes. And while I did look for practical responses to those changes, what I didn’t do was hamstring Alaska’s job creators with burdensome regulations so that I could act "greener than thou" when talking to reporters.

Sarah has what is probably the most reasonable stance there is on the whole notion of climate change. Being someone in a position of power she honestly didn’t have the luxury to just call these liars out and blow them off. And, as someone who spent time as her state’s chief energy and environmental regulator, Sarah knows more than the average politician and humble blogger about the subject.

Climate change may be happening, but the climate on earth has a history of changing. The earth is millions of years old, for goodness sake! We’ve had heat waves and ice ages. All before man even existed! Obviously if the entire earth was covered in ice, and we now have places where it is not, there was some significant warming.

Anyhow, one failed California Governor pwned.

But why did Arnold even bother to speak up? What prompted all of this? Well, as always, follow the money! Our friend and colleague, The Might Serf, went to town on this one and found some fascinating information:

Schwarzenegger vs. Palin: Arnold has no credibility

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, from the COP15 Climate Summit in Copenhagen, Governor Schwarzenegger took a swipe at Governor Palin. He was asked about her editorial published in the Washington Post last week. He replied:

"You have to ask: what was she trying to accomplish? Is she really interested in this subject or is she interested in her career and in winning the nomination? You have to take all these things with a grain of salt."

Tack on "mind reader" to Arnie's long list professional talents...

Not only is that conjecture on his part, it's also a convenient way to avoid the subject matter and deal with what she said. Arnold deflects the debate, as is common with the global warming faithful and turns it into a 'what's Palin going to do next' moment.

Then he goes on to say:

"We in California have proven it over and over that you can protect the economy, and you can protect the environment." ...

"I don't think you have to choose. I think it is nonsense talk to say let's talk first about the economy."

Either Arnold needs advisors that don't lie to him or he has a serious literacy issue. The last time I checked, the statewide California unemployment rate was at 12.3 percent. With the highest rated area, a town about forty minutes east of where I'm sitting, called El Centro at 22.6 percent.


The report goes on to say:


As a Californian who happens to believe that we are in a current trend of "global cooling" (and yes, lefties that also is a "change" in climate) and also someone forced to live under the green foot of my state government, I got a little more joy from that post than some.

She correctly points out the economic mess California is in and accurately points to one of the main culprits. Arnold keeps talking about these "green jobs" (sounds familiar) but when you look at the numbers I posted above, the small number of positions that open up in the market aren't enough to even put a small dent into those figures.

When my car can run off of algae, we may see a boost in the green economy. Until then, realize what makes an economy work and what doesn't. Like new regulations and laws for instance... Those are instant job killers. If you mandate small businesses that are already stretched too thin, they will lay off workers. They don't have a choice. In business, you do whatever it takes to make it to the next month.

Now, to the "why" in Governor Palin's statement.

I remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger spent his time trying to convince American's that they should buy a Hummer. Well those days are long gone and a new Climate Crusader has emerged in place of that carbon spewing truck peddler.

Schwarzenegger is now one of the most outspoken global warming alarmists in public office today. He has dramatically steered this state toward more "green" centered policies, programs, and worst of all, mandates. So did he have an epiphany? Did his wife's family convince him over turkey dinner during the holidays?

Probably not, but I believe Robert Kennedy, his wife's cousin, has everything to do with Arnold's conduct in regards to environmental policies.

Robert Kennedy is not only the governor's relative but he is also one of Arnold's closest advisors, even if he does serve in an unofficial capacity. The two of them can be seen at various press announcements and environmental meetings talking about their great plans to reconstruct California into a "green economy."

There's just one problem with that... A slight conflict of interest arises when one looks over the contracts and plans Californians will be forking money over for in these deals. Robert Kennedy is a Venture Partner and Senior Advisor for a company called VantagePoint Venture Partners. VantagePoint has a multimillion-dollar stake in a company called BrightSource, who produces solar technology. BrightSource has lobbied to build a massive energy project in the Mojave Desert. The project would provide power to 142,000 homes and cost about $2 billion. BrightsSource hopes to build three solar-powered plants situated on land near the Nevada-California borders. As Schwarzenegger told a joint conference of Mexican and U.S. governors, "They’re going to blanket the world with solar panels."

Last year Governor Schwarzenegger also announced a plan to build a massive electric vehicle grid that would cover most of California. At the press conference in San Francisco, Robert Kennedy said "Creating an energy-independent economy is our generation's moon-shot." Whatever "moon-shot" means, I don't know but I don't like it. He also said "For too long we've believed that economy and environment stood at odds with each other. By coming together in this time of turmoil to build a clean transportation infrastructure, this generation will fuel the economic and environmental prosperity of generations to come." Given the fact that Robert attended that conference as a representative of VantagePoint, you better believe they are looking to rake in millions from the deal.

In fact, there is an overwhelming amount of information out there that points to Governor Schwarzenegger's real motives in pushing a "green" economy. It's all about money and it has little to do with the environment. As is usually the case when it comes to the big names in the Climate Change "movement." Just do a quick search into Al Gore's finances to see how philanthropic that guy really is. I'll go out on a limb here and call the man a profiteer.

As far as Governor Palin's motives behind publishing words of warning and giving Obama advice (good advice) on environmental matters... She's trying to help the country. Nothing else. She has no financial ties or personal ties to an industry that stands to heavily profit from the outcome of the Copenhagen Summit. In fact, I've done a lot of research into Governor Palin's background and connections... I've linked her up to the Rotary Club and the NRA. That's it.

By the way, for any of you that still think Arnold resides on the right, politically speaking. The left-wing Annenberg Foundation, helped cover the bill for his trip to Copenhagen through a California State Protocol Foundation grant. I wonder if Robert made the journey too???

Regular readers of this website will recognize the name Annenberg Foundation straightaway. This is the very same Annenberg Foundation that gave the unrepentant murdering domestic terrorist William Ayers, and his good old buddy Barack Obama $60 million dollars for "education," which Ayers and Obama then in turn gave to radical groups like ACORN, you know, "for the children."

Now....As we talked about before, Sarah’s two Op-Eds she wrote for the Washington Post were some of the most read of the entire year. The one she wrote in July on the subject of global warming was the third most read. Predictably, the loons have lost their minds over this! In the world of the democrat/communist, dissenting thought, and differences of opinion, simply are not tolerated, and most certainly not written.

The Washington Post has, of course, been savaged for allowing that woman to sully the pages of their fine paper. The reaction by the crazies has been hilarious, well worth the time to observe. These people’s entire lives are based on lies, and they can’t justify themselves. Liberalism is one of those things that simply cannot withstand the light of day, or hockey moms from Wasilla, Alaska.

So, WaPo trots out their resident hack, Eugene Robinson, to satisfy the moonbats. What could go wrong?

I’d like to thank Eugene Robinson for highlighting Alaska’s achievements on climate change ["Palin’s own ‘Climate- gate,’" op-ed, Dec. 15] and for noting that I’ve "treated the issue as serious, complex, and worthy of urgent attention," while making "any number of pragmatic, reasonable, smart decisions as governor." But he’s wrong to suggest that my views have somehow changed or that now I’ll have to "renounce" my past efforts.

Once again: I don’t deny that climate change is real. In creating a sub-cabinet to deal specifically with the issue, I said that "Alaska’s climate change strategy must be built on sound science and the best available facts and must recognize Alaska’s interest in economic growth and the development of its resources." That goal made sense to me then, and it makes sense to me now.

Mr. Robinson tries to make hay out of the fact that I asked the group to advise me regarding opportunities to participate in "carbon-trading markets." But considering voluntary participation in carbon-trading programs is much different from endorsing the economically disastrous cap-and-tax proposals put forward by Democrats in Washington. Those proposals will burden our job creators and raise energy prices for all of us, and that’s why I oppose them.

As governor of Alaska, I sought common-sense solutions that took real-world costs and benefits into account. That’s what I’m looking for now. But that’s not what’s on the table in Washington or in Copenhagen.

Obviously, Sarah has hoisted this entire bunch of nimrods by their own petards. It’s glorious to watch a politician who will actually fight back when these liars in the media and RINOs attack. Of course, what’s a good story about taking the global warming hoaxers to the woodshed without some real meat and potatoes. As you know the Climategate scandal was uncovered in Russia where, ironically, their media is open, and relatively honest.

ClimateGate Just Got Much, Much Bigger

Over at ICECAP.us Meteorologist Joe D’Aleo has posted an item on a "Russian Bombshell" highly relevant to the ClimateGate scandal. The Russian media first posted the story and now some Brits are loving it.

The long and the short of it is best summarized by the Telegraph’s James Dellingpole: "What the Russians are suggesting here, in other words, is that the entire global temperature record used by the IPCC to inform world government policy is a crock."

That is, we have yet further evidence that the data is being cooked to make the long-running claim of an increase in global temperatures, and now to diminish the apparent cooling of said temps. As the gang at EU referendum tout, "it is in Soviet Union that the CRU, NOAA, NASA show the greatest warming."

Around the world temperature stations have been widely decommissioned in rural and higher elevations, and we see an over-emphasis on increasingly urbanized (and therefore warmer) stations in the curious selection process as to what temperatures should count, and how much. The latter point references the fact that the data is then adjusted, and we are also seeing an increase in adjusting urbanized (that is, artificially warm) temperature records not down, but upward.

Excerpted in pertinent part, Joe Writes:

On Tuesday, the Moscow-based Institute of Economic Analysis (IEA) issued a report claiming that the Hadley Center for Climate Change based at the headquarters of the British Meteorological Office in Exeter (Devon, England) had probably tampered with Russian-climate data.

The IEA believes that Russian meteorological-station data did not substantiate the anthropogenic global-warming theory. …The data of stations located in areas not listed in the Hadley Climate Research Unit Temperature UK (HadCRUT) survey often does not show any substantial warming in the late 20th century and the early 21st century.

The HadCRUT database includes specific stations providing incomplete data and highlighting the global-warming process, rather than stations facilitating uninterrupted observations. …

IEA analysts say climatologists use the data of stations located in large populated centers that are influenced by the urban-warming effect more frequently than the correct data of remote stations.

The reason this cherry-picking is relevant — as is the apparent similar gamesmanship being played with other countries examined in recent days including China and New Zealand — because our NOAA compiles the global dataset and the rest work from it. So when CRU claimed that it "lost" its raw data, what they’re saying is the claim to have lost which stations they chose from NOAA’s compilation, making it impossible for those who wish to check it to discern how they got the answer they did.

If it is what it appears to be, and my dozen years working with these people and the past few weeks peeking further inside thanks to ClimateGate tell me that it is, then this is root-cause corruption.

Meanwhile, they are scrambling madly to stitch up an agreement in Copenhagen politically committing the U.S. to the long-desired wealth-transfer. The question is which moves faster, the collapse of the increasingly likely scientific fraud, or the global governance set.

Look, there are a lot of links there, and in incredible amount of information that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that pretty much all of the information used by the global warming hoaxers is not only faulty, but an absolute lie. You simply must take time to investigate them.

These dishonest scientists have cooked the books, withheld and manipulated data to suit their needs, all in an effort to pull off the greatest scam in history. The greatest lie ever told.

This is the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot, and UFOs on a global scale! Why? Money, of course. All of these scientists make money off of government and private foundation grants. No crisis, no funding. No funding and you have a lot of "climate scientists" working at McDonald’s asking you if you want fries with that, which is probably where they belong.

And of course, there is power. Look at all of the power that would be wielded if this wasn’t a hoax, and we allowed measures to fight this mythical beast to be put in place. It would be enormous.

The bottom line is this: The climate exists, that’s indisputable. The climate changes, well...duh! Live in Texas and you may see all 4 seasons in one day! That’s real climate change.

But seriously, the climate indeed changes, that’s why the marketing managers over at Big Global Warming, and Big Government, changed the name to "climate change" once it got out that the earth had actually been in a cooling mode since the mid 1990's. Thus Big Climate was born.

There is no credible data though, that man can cause the climate to change. Now, can man screw up his local environment? You bet’cha! For example, the environmental whack jobs have turned America’s breadbasket, the San Joaquin Valley of California into a desert because of a minnow. Millions of acres of land that used to feed the world, literally, is now a dust bowl, all because man has screwed with nature.

The answer to this sort of thing is to allow the states, not the federal government, to regulate the activities of the insane. This also goes for those who pollute, and well, even litter. We all want a clean world, a healthy world. But we also want a world that places a premium on liberty and freedom. A world were we, the individual, are what matters, not Big Government, Big Climate, Or Big Al Gore.

As the wheels start to come off of the global warming hoax wagon, men like Al Gore, who has bored us to death with his inane braying, need to be rounded up and jailed. The same goes for politicians and officials who have pushed these lies on the world.

There is simply no way to measure the amount of blood and treasure that has been lost in pursuit of this hoax. Industries destroyed, jobs lost, and lives destroyed. We could be talking about trillions of dollars, but how can one even measure the destruction these liars have caused?

Well, for now, we have a few brave souls, like Sarah Palin, who has the power of her position as the true American leader, to take these people and their lies on. Thank God for that.
