Breaking: Sarah Palin to Keynote Tea Party Rally in Iowa

By Gary P Jackson

Scott Conroy at RealClearPolitics has the scoop:

In the latest indication that her sights are still set on a presidential run, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has accepted an invitation to keynote a Tea Party rally in Waukee, Iowa, on Sept. 3, RealClearPolitics has learned.

The Labor Day weekend visit to the nation's first voting state comes after Palin indicated during an appearance on Fox News earlier this month that she would make her decision about whether to launch a campaign in August or September.

All signs now point to September as the month when Palin would throw her hat into the ring, as logistical concerns ranging from fundraising to getting her name on the ballot in various states would likely preclude further delay.

Many prominent political analysts and Republican operatives have expressed skepticism that Palin is seriously considering a presidential bid, since she has not taken many of the steps that candidates traditionally take before jumping into the race, such as signing early-state consultants, contacting key powerbrokers and boosting their travel schedules.

But Palin has a long history of shunning the Republican Party machinery and taking an unconventional approach to campaigns -- a mind-set that appears to have been in play throughout the past several months.

Palin's latest appearance in Iowa will come just two days after "The Undefeated," a documentary film spotlighting her accomplishments in Alaska, will be released on Pay-Per-View and video-on-demand. In the film, Palin is portrayed as a continual thorn in the Republican establishment's side. And it is the GOP, rather than the Democratic Party, that garners the better part of the movie's scorn.

If Palin were to announce a White House run, the theme of her campaign would almost certainly focus on resisting the ingrained political culture and what she sees as being wrong with the status quo, and much of the Republican Party itself, in addition to continuing to offer one of the most strident contrasts to President Obama's policies.

The outdoor rally on the first Saturday in September will take place at a field in Waukee, located just outside of Des Moines, and will be hosted by the Tea Party of America -- an Iowa-based political action committee that was founded in May.

The midday affair will be the new group's kickoff event and is sure to generate a large crowd and massive media attention.

One of the Tea Party of America's co-founders, Charlie Gruschow, had previously founded the Des Moines Tea Party before splintering off to start a new group with some like-minded colleagues.

Gruschow praised the work of a highly motivated group of volunteers who have been setting the groundwork in Iowa for a Palin campaign, which almost all of them deem to be inevitable.

"I can only surmise that she's very, very popular here," Gruschow said of Palin's level of support among Republican caucus-goers in Iowa. "And it didn't hurt at all when she introduced her movie in Pella. The feedback I've gotten was it was an awesome movie, and there are more people becoming more endeared to her."

Palin has been relatively quiet over the past month, as she has retreated to Alaska to immerse herself in policy and to strategize with her husband, Todd, and top advisers about how a potential campaign would work.

SarahPAC, Palin's political action committee, has not hired a pollster or a media consultant, and Palin appears to have little interest in doing so, although the addition of a national press secretary may soon be on the horizon.

The 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee will not be on the ballot at next month's Ames Straw Poll, which could winnow the GOP field just as Texas Gov. Rick Perry is expected to enter the race sometime in August.

We've been saying for some time that after Labor Day is the ideal time to get serious about this thing. That's when the majority of the American people will start paying attention to presidential politics. Right now the only ones really paying attention are the political junkies and the media, who are desperate for anything to fill the 24 hour a day news cycle.

We know Organize4Palin has put together a ground game in Iowa that is miles ahead of anyone else. These volunteers have been in Iowa for almost a year now.

As Conroy points out, Sarah Palin has never run a conventional campaign. She is one of the best retail politicians she is, and loves taking her case directly to the people. She turned the Ruling Class on it's head in Alaska by doing this.

We're looking at new polls that show once Sarah Palin enters the race, she will be in a dead heat with Mitt Romney and Rick Perry for the nomination. The rest of the field becomes quite irrelevant. We are confident Sarah will be able to show that her record is superior to the rest, and that she has the right plan to get America back on track.

As director Stephen Bannon pointed out in an interview we covered here: "What Sarah Palin did as Governor in Alaska is a Harvard Business School case study in turnarounds"

The rest will have a hard time measuring up to this standard, that's for certain.

Tea Party To Romney: No Thanks!

While I whole-heartedly discourage this sort of thought, because just getting rid of Obama will fix nothing, especially if we replace him with an establishment Republican, there are a lot of "anybody but Obama" people out there, including some in the Tea Party. That said, as much as everyone wants Obama gone, it seems for Tea Party leadership, Mitt Romney is a bridge too far:

"I honestly don’t know whether the movement will perform well" in the presidential election, said Mark Meckler, co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots, a national coalition of local groups. "I don’t think anybody is looking for a third party candidate, but anybody who would count out that possibility, I just think is ignorant."…

Some take issue with Romney’s vacillation on social issues like gay rights and abortion. But the biggest tea party knocks on Romney are his position that global warming merits action to curb heat-trapping emissions, and especially his role in enacting a Massachusetts state healthcare overhaul.

"There are certain issues that are so fundamental to tea party values that you really can’t be on the other side of, and Romney is, and that’s the problem that Jon Huntsman will have," Kibbe said, signaling likely tea party opposition to the former Utah governor…

"There’s no chance that we’re all going to unite," said Stockton, who also has worked with the Tea Party Express. "Anytime that you have strong personalities with all of these differing groups, I’m not holding my breath to see them all get along and play nice. However, I would fully expect that whoever the nominee is – as long as it’s not Romney – that everybody will probably end up being on the same page."

Read more here.

The other problem with Romney is the fact he's a human windsock and can never be trusted. He blows with the prevailing winds. The man has no core values, except that he will pander to any group he thinks he has to, even if it means stabbing the group he previously pandered to on the same issue right in the back!

Sarah Palin To Attend Wisconsin Tax Day Tea Party Event

Sarah Palin, with son Trig, holding a sign commemorating the first Tea Party which was held in Boston in the year 1773

Sarah Palin will be heading to Madison, Wisconsin for the big Tax Day Rally on Saturday. Sarah is no stranger to Wisconsin politics as she endorsed Governor Scott Walker's successful election bid, and most recently backed Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser in his successful re-election bid.

She was also very vocal during the violent left wing protests over Governor Walker's attempts to save the state from bankruptcy.

Sarah penned an open letter to her union brothers and sisters asking them to stand with Governor Walker and refudiate the union thug leadership and their violent rhetoric. This letter was then read aloud to a large and receptive crowd by Dave Westlake.

From the Wisconsin State Journal:

Former Alaska governor and current tea party sweetheart Sarah Palin is coming to town Saturday to help rally the GOP troops for the now-annual Tax Day Rally.

Event organizer Nancy Mistele confirmed the presence of the Mama Grizzly Thursday. She said more details would come out later in the day.

Organizers are planning the event to run from noon to 2 p.m. at the state Capitol. It's expected to be a gathering of conservative activists from around the state. Other speakers include radio personality Vicki McKenna, Wall Street Journal columnist John Fund, talk show host John T. Harris, and Americans for Prosperity State Director Matt Seaholm.

Americans for Prosperity is organizing buses to the event.

"Governor Palin is a strong voice for taxpayers and for reforming government to make it more accountable," Seaholm said. "She doesn't pull punches and is one of the most influential and followed commentators in politics today."

And Northwoods Patriots founder Kim Simac, who is also speaking at the rally, called Palin a "huge role model."

Madison tea party activist Kirsten Lombard is going to be out of town Saturday, but she said most of her fellow tea partiers will be in attendance.

"I think (Palin) will certainly energize the conservative base in Wisconsin," she said.

Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chairman Mike Tate said Palin was an early supporter of Scott Walker so it makes sense she would come to Wisconsin.

Here is the official press release from Americans for Prosperity:

Michael Williams: I'm In!

Got a great email from Michael Williams today {as did all of his supporters] :

I'm In!

Dear Friends,

Today I officially announced my candidacy for the United States Senate in 2012. Let me tell you a little about how I reached this decision.

All too often, good people run for elected office for the wrong reasons. In each of my successful statewide races in Texas, I have sought that office with a specific purpose that involves serving our people rather than pursuing power.

First and most importantly, what guides me is a desire to serve God and my family. But I also feel called to serve the people of Texas, and my purpose in seeking this seat is to bring a prosperity agenda to Washington that empowers individuals instead of government.

I will go to Washington, D.C. to fight the establishment that expands government at the expense of our liberty. I will advocate for free markets unfettered by excessive federal regulation. I will champion life, and stand for the rule of law in enforcing our borders.

President Obama and the Democrats in the Senate are blocking true conservative reform including the repeal of ObamaCare, immigration reform, spending cuts, tax reform and the will of the electorate. If you send me to Washington, I will fight to restore our freedoms, and unleash future generations from a burden of debt.

But I need your help. Your contribution can help fuel a resounding victory in 2012.

Can you chip in $20 or more to help us start off strong?

Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and support.

God bless,

Michael

This is what we have been waiting for since Kay Bailey Hutchison announced she was retiring. Michael Williams is the right man for Texas and the Right man to represent Texas in Washington. A solid, Common Sense Conservative. Someone to help turn things around!

Now that it's official, send Michael a $20 to help him kick things off. Stop by his website WilliamsforTexas to donate.

Also follow Michael on Facebook and Twitter.

Breaking: Democrats Plotted To Blame Tea Party And Sarah Palin For Arizona Mass Murder

At the same time the injured were being taken to the hospital ....

Never let a serious crisis go to waste.

~ Rahm Emanuel, former White House Chief of Staff to President Barack Obama, Chicago mayoral candidate

This just in from Jim Hoft at Big Government:

One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did.

They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,” said the Democrat. “Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.”

Another Democratic strategist said the similarity is that Tucson and Oklahoma City both “take place in a climate of bitter and virulent rhetoric against the government and Democrats.

This Democrat said that the time had come to insist that Republicans stand up when, for example, a figure such as Fox News commentator Glenn Beck says something incendiary.

As Hoft rightly points out:

The shooter was a pro-Marxist, anti-flag, anti-Constitution, anti-religious crackpot.

He was hardly a tea partier.

Read more here.

This is despicable, but par for the course for the left. All Alinsky all the time for this bunch. It should be noted that Rahm "Never Let A Crisis Go To Waste" Emanuel also worked as President Bill Clinton's Senior Advisor for Policy and Strategy.

The mentality of the left is downright evil.

But Of Course: Communist Party Of America Throws It's Support Behind Obama And The Democrats

Jarvis Tyner speaks in Detroit on October 7 on the need for an all-out mobilization to defeat Tea Party and other right wing Republican candidates.

Surprise, surprise! Radical Communist Jarvis Tyner is backing his fellow travelers who have taken over the democrat party. He's trying to fire up the crazies to take on American Patriots in the Tea Party movement who are trying to save our nation from certain destruction.

From our friends in New Zealand at the New Zeal blog.

Communist Party USA Leader Openly Backs Obama and the Democrats

Jarvis Tyner, national executive vice-chair of the Communist Party USA, spoke in Detroit October 7, on the need to for "left and progressive" minded people to help insure a huge voter turnout for the midterm election.

Tyner is uncompromising in his support for the Democrats and Communist Party "friend" Barack Obama.

The Communists understand what is at stake in these elections. Do you?

Let us not forget, recently the Socialist Party of America announced the names of 70 members of Congress who are also Marxists, and members of the Socialist Party caucus.

The must radical elements of humanity, violent Communists, Socialists ....  Marxists all .... are who now control the democrat party. These disciples of Lennon and Marx are evil. There is no other way to describe them.

Remember this when you vote on Tuesday.

You have a choice: Leave radicals, supported by the absolute worst of what society has to offer, in power, or vote for Common Sense candidates who will restore this nation to sanity.

Sarah Palin: For The Tea Party, November 2nd Is Just The Beginning. This Is The Reawakening Of America

Tuesday night Greta aired the second part of a two part interview with Sarah Palin. You can view part one, if you missed it, here.

Sarah Palin has thrown down the gauntlet to the Republican elites as well as the radical left. Like the Tea Party itself, Sarah is telling the establishment, in BOTH parties that it's over. Business as usual isn't cutting it, and simply will not be allowed to continue.

Anyone who has been paying attention knows the Tea Party is about throwing the bums out. On the Republican side so-called "moderate" (code for far left) candidates are being unceremoniously shown the door by common sense conservatives backed by Tea Party Patriots.

The Tea Party is backing solid common sense candidates against the radical left Marxist-democrats in anticipation of what should be a bloodbath for the radicals come November. The thrashing the Marxist-democrat party is about to experience is like nothing seen before in the history of our Republic.

The next Congress will be decidedly more representative of the American people. That is when the real change begins. That's when the restoration of America as a Constitutional, Representative Republic, based on the Rule of Law begins.

Sarah, like a lot of us see the Tea Party, not as a political party, a "third party" per se, but more of a watchdog. A permanent watchdog movement that will forever hold the politicians who work for us accountable. As Sarah herself says: "The Tea Party Is The Future Of American Politics"

A whole lot of useless, corrupt, congresscritters, in both parties, are going to get fired in November. That is just the start. A lot of the elites think after November has come and gone, the Tea Party Patriots will just go home, and the elites will be able to go back doing what they have always done. They are in for a rude awakening.

In November we will hire a whole new Congress. We will expect them to live up to American values and follow the Constitution. If they can't get this done, guess what, come 2012, we'll fire them too, and find someone else to take THEIR place.

It really is that simple.

It's become abundantly clear that Sarah Palin is going to run for President in 2012. You listen to her words. She, like most of us, is sick of the establishment, the elites, the Ruling Class. Sarah has no problem calling these people out, especially those in her own party.

The left and the media (OK, same thing, I know) have worked overtime to create a caricature of Sarah as some sort of far right ideologue, a hyper-partisan politician. This, of course, is wrong.

One of the things that made Sarah Palin one of the most successful Governors in the nation was her desire to do what was right, not what was good for the party. In fact, I think one could say Sarah has a healthy disdain for both parties. She certainly has no problem taking bad actors in either party to the woodshed when needed. She also had no problem working when anyone, so long as it was good for Alaska. The party affiliation of who she worked with meant little to her.

We all know why the left hates her. Sarah Palin is the most articulate spokesmen for American values and American exceptionalism since Ronald Reagan. Sarah loves this country and believes in this country. She believes in the greatness of the American people. Sarah represents everything the left hates.

Having Sarah Palin as the Republican nominee in 2012 would mean the American people will have a clear choice of good vs evil at the ballot box, not the "lesser of two evils" we are usually treated to. It most certainly won't be Marxist-democrat vs Marxist-democrat light as is the norm.

This, BTW, is why elements in the Republican Party, the elites, work so hard behind the scenes to discredit Sarah. To dismiss her. The go along, get along "moderates" who are little more than enablers for the Communist left, have no place in Sarah Palin’s Republican Party, and they know it. Sarah Palin is a tough, strong woman. She has the ability and desire to finish what Ronald Reagan started.

Now, how do I know Sarah Palin is running for President? It's as plain as the nose on your face. Sarah is doing exactly what she did in Alaska before she ran for Governor, and defeated the Republican incumbent, Frank Murkowski.

As you know, Sarah, as the top energy and environmental regulator in Alaska, uncovered massive corruption in and out of Government, with much of it tied to Murkowski. Unable to do anything, as Murkowski was protecting his people, Sarah resigned, and with the threat of prison coming from Alaska's Attorney General if she blew the whistle, did just that. Sarah blew the whistle on all of these people, and helped some of them find their way to the federal prison system.

This is basically what Sarah is doing now, on a much grander scale. Taking down a bunch of rough and corrupt "good old boys" was just a dress rehearsal for what she is doing to the dysfunctional Republican Party all across the country, and about to do to the Marxist-democrat party.

With roughly 2 years to go, even the time line is about the same as it was up in Alaska.

Sarah has been building a network of solid common sense conservative men and women nationwide who will be there to help her govern this nation and restore our Republic.

Sarah is making sure that when she takes office in 2013 she will have a solid team and be able to hit the ground running.

Powerful Video: "The Last Best Hope"

This is the issue of this election. Whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether we abandon the American Revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far distant capitol can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.

~ Ronald Reagan, October 27, 1964 from: "A Time For Choosing"

This is simply an incredible video. Created and produced by Ben Howe, the video expresses the both the frustration and the hope of the American people.

Our out of control government has triggered one of the greatest political awakenings in our nation's history. Ordinary everyday men and women, who have never done anything political in their lives, are coming together, organizing, and making a difference.

All across the nation common sense conservatives have run for office and won their primaries. We have the greatest opportunity in a generation, or more, to turn this nation around, and take government away from the "little intellectual elites" up in Washington, and put it back into the hands of We The People.

November is coming.

Get involved. Get organized. Get ready for November.

Sarah Palin: Oh Yeah, I Would Run For President If Everyone Else Sucks

OK, I admit, I stole that headline idea from our friends over at The Right Scoop, but it sums it up so well!

Sarah talks with Greta about all things political. First they talk about Christine O'Donnell, and then Lisa "Daddy's Girl" Murkowski’s sore loser write in bid up in Alaska against the Republican nominee, Joe Miller.

You can tell Sarah is feeling invigorated right now. Right off the bat she mentions that, thanks to the corrupt "lamestream media," we now more about Christine O’Donnell’s past than we do Barack Hussein Obama’s!

Oh yeah, she went there.

As always, Greta asks Sarah whether or not she will run in 2012, and as always Sarah tells her that she is focusing on whipping the Marxist-democrats in November. That's of course, how it should be.

Unlike the usual suspects, Romney, Gingrich, and the rest of the establishment elite, who lust after the presidency, spend all of their time angling for the presidency, wanting it so bad it hurts, one really gets the impression that when Sarah says she is fine doing what she is doing, she means it.

I still remember a couple of events last year that really left a lasting impression on me. One was in June, 2009. It was a dinner in Anchorage that featured Michael Reagan. Sarah introduced him. At the time she was fighting Obama’s Alaska Mafia © as well as the corrupt media hot and heavy. In her speech she rightly said the left wanted her to sit down and shut up. Sarah let it be known that she wasn't about to sit down and shut up though, and she implored the audience, and Americans nationwide, to stand up with her.

Sarah told the audience: "Politically, if I die, I die, but I won't sit down, and I won't shut up."

That was powerful, but only a prelude to what was coming. Less than a month later, July 3, 2009 to be exact. Sarah Palin had her own "Declaration of Independence" speech, and handed over the reins of her government to her Lt Governor, Sean Parnell. This was Sarah Palin being the ultimate statesman, relinquishing power for the good of her people.

Contrast that to the way the defeated Republican elites are acting. We've seen Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist, Lisa Murkowski, and now possibly Mike Castle do anything to hold on to the power after being soundly defeated. It's like they have chained themselves to their desks so they can't be removed from office. It's their birthright, you know.

When Sarah gave her Independence speech, she told the stunned audience that neither she, nor anyone else, needed to hold office, or have some sort of title to make a difference. Of course the media and the elites in both parties laughed and bloviated. They wrote her off. She was finished.

Since then Sarah has been putting on a clinic. She is schooling the whole world on how someone can be the leader of an entire movement, arguably the leader of the FREE world, with nothing more than a laptop and common sense. Oh, and a work ethic like no one else's.

With all that said, and let me be clear, I totally believe what she says. I absolutely believe that Sarah would be happy to go home and just kick back with Trig and Tripp and enjoy her family. Sarah was more than happy to just go back to Alaska and be Governor after the 2008 election. She could have been contented to continue to be the most successful and popular Governor in America.

The problem is, the left, the insane haters, and Obama’s hand picked thugs wouldn't let her. They couldn't let well enough alone.

I think we will see the same dynamic take hold after these mid-term elections. Events will be such that Sarah Palin will be called upon to serve. We know the Tea Party has no appointed leaders, and that's as it should be, but the nation as a whole is in dire need of true leadership.

Sarah makes it clear (and has been making it clear) that she would be open to a run of there was no one else filling the void. Well, let me help her out! Sarah, there is no one filling the void!

There are a ton of names out there, some well known, some totally unknown, but there are no leaders. There are a bunch of people who lust for power and glory, but there is no one with the proven abilities and proven record like Sarah Palin.

The comparisons are always there. It's very easy to call Sarah this generation's Ronald Reagan or this generation's Maggie Thatcher. Frankly though, Sarah is of our time. While she possesses many qualities of both of those great leaders, and many more, the truth is Sarah is one of a kind. A unique leader with her own skills and abilities.

Like Washington, Lincoln, Reagan, and Thatcher were the leaders for their time, Sarah Palin is the leader for our time.

Racist NAACP Tape Released: USDA Worker Tells Group White Man Should Get Help From His "Own Kind."

On the heels of the NAACP claiming the Tea Party is racist, without an ounce of proof, Andrew Breitbart has released a tape that clearly shows there is just a tad bit of racism in the NAACP.

This from Breitbart:

We are in possession of a video from in which Shirley Sherrod, USDA Georgia Director of Rural Development, speaks at the NAACP Freedom Fund dinner in Georgia. In her meandering speech to what appears to be an all-black audience, this federally appointed executive bureaucrat lays out in stark detail, that her federal duties are managed through the prism of race and class distinctions.

In the first video, Sherrod describes how she racially discriminates against a white farmer. She describes how she is torn over how much she will choose to help him. And, she admits that she doesn’t do everything she can for him, because he is white. Eventually, her basic humanity informs that this white man is poor and needs help. But she decides that he should get help from “one of his own kind”. She refers him to a white lawyer.

Sherrod’s racist tale is received by the NAACP audience with nodding approval and murmurs of recognition and agreement. Hardly the behavior of the group now holding itself up as the supreme judge of another groups’ racial tolerance.

Indeed, this group wants to be the end all and be all when it comes to race, as Breitbart puts it, the supreme judge, and yet you have this sort of person among their ranks.Anyone find it ironic that this occurred at an event billed as a "Freedom Fund Dinner"? "Freedom for me, but not for thee" seems to be the name of this game.

It should be noted that while the NAACP, a racist organization who buddies up with the radical Nation of Islam, and the domestic terrorist group, New Black Panthers, is shouting from the rooftops that the Tea Party, which has members of all races, creeds, and colors, is racist, they have absolutely no proof of any racism within the organizations. In fact, Breitbart has offered up a $100,000 reward for any video evidence of said racism, and as yet, there are no takers.

Breitbart's second tape may be even worse, BTW, as Sherrod implores those in the audience to go to work for the USDA because "when was the last time you heard about layoffs"! As pathetic as the NAACP, and phony racism charges, are and as sad real racism from NAACP members is, the out of control government that only grows and grows is the most alarming.

This woman should be the poster child for the first big round of federal government layoffs that need to happen.

Sarah Palin Headlines The Showdown In Searchlight To Defeat Harry Reid

Sarah Palin is headlining a major Tea Party event in Searchlight, Nevada on March 27.

Searchlight, of course, is the hometown of the corrupt Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid. Reid is one of many old guard, corrupt democrats being targeted for defeat come November. One by one the American people will defeat these evil progressives, send them packing, as we take our government back.

I heartily recommend everyone brew up a big pot of tea on the 27th and head to Searchlight, if not in person, at least in spirit!

Sarah Palin Lightning In A Bottle

Thunder is good, thunder is impressive; but it is lightning that does the work.

–Mark Twain

I’ve been on this earth a half a century. I’ve experienced a lot of history first hand, and studied history even further, and in all of my time I have never experienced anything or anyone like Sarah Palin.

To say that Sarah Palin is a dynamic figure is a gross understatement. Sarah is a woman who commands attention, and commands respect. Oh yeah, she has her detractors, everyone does, but they are only making themselves more and more irrelevant with each passing day. These Palin deniers might try and tell themselves that Sarah Palin doesn’t matter, but that simply doesn’t make it so!

The radical left and the media (yes, yes..
I know, same thing) have tried to set up a narrative that Sarah doesn’t matter, that she is irrelevant. And yet, they follow her every word. It has become quite comical to watch the Palin deniers twist themselves into knots every time she says or does something.

Take this past weekend. Sarah Palin was
everywhere. On a weekend that featured not only the Super Bowl but the kick off to the NASCAR season, Sarah was the big story, the one getting all of the attention.

Let’s take a look at her itinerary starting on Friday. As we reported, Sarah made a stop in Salina, Kansas to speak to the local Chamber of Commerce. This was reportedly the largest ever such gathering for a Chamber meeting.

Here is the audio from Sarah’s speech via Kevin Wright and C4P:

Wait a minute, hold the phone! That sure didn’t
sound like some airhead speaking, did it? I guess the Palin deniers didn’t bother to listen to this speech. I know they certainly don’t want you to listen!

What I heard was an experienced Chief Executive talking about success, and how to duplicate it. Now I know that Sarah doesn’t have slick marketing slogans or tired generalizations like "
hope and change," but I think we can "settle" for some real solid ideas, and knowledge, can’t we?

From Salina, Sarah went on to Nashville where she headlined the first annual National Tea Party Convention.

To say that Sarah Palin knocked it out of the park with her rousing speech would be like saying that Shakespear fellow "
wrote some good plays!" Sarah was remarkable. Strong, confident, and on target.

While Sarah spoke on her signature issues: fiscal responsibility, and energy independence, but she spent the largest portion of her speech talking about national security. Something President Obama, a total failure in this arena, avoided like the plague in his State of the Union Speech.

The left tries to portray her as someone with no knowledge of foreign affairs. They don’t dare tell people that it was Sarah’s strong answers on foreign policy and national defense that led John McCain to choose her of 24 other candidates as his running mate!

Sarah speaks very strongly on issues of national security, and when it comes to fighting terrorism, takes a page out of Reagan’s policy on fighting evil, simply stating her position: "
We win, they lose."

Sarah, was introduced to the large crowd by media mogul Andrew Breitbart. She received multiple standing ovations and continuous loud applause from the audience. Her speech which totally eclipsed the President’s State of the Union speech, was followed by a question and answer session.

Palin TV:

After the speech, the corrupt, Obamacentric media didn’t know what to do or say. They simply couldn’t refute her speech, or her facts. They absolutely couldn’t deny her strong support from those in attendance.

Now generally, the left tries to tell everyone that Sarah is dumb, or that her speeches "
ramble" and are "dis-jointed and incoherent" but America has come to realize the left is just projecting, and if anything, they are describing their leader, Barack Obama, who can’t give a coherent, substantial speech to save his life. In fact, as Obama’s popularity has slipped, his speeches have become more and more erratic and incoherent.

What we witnessed in Nashville was a powerful woman who knows exactly what she is trying to do, and is doing it well. It was incredibly fitting that Sarah gave this speech on the 99th birthday of one of our greatest Presidents, Ronald Reagan.. Sarah was nothing short of
Reaganesque in her delivery. She was solid, and engaging. Sarah laid out her vison for America, an America that is prosperous, safe, and free.

So, unable to refute Sarah, unable to compete in the marketplace of ideas, the media, which is basically a propaganda arm for
Obama, Inc., went on to become a full parody of itself.

In what looked more like a
Saturday Night Live skit poking fun of the media, the press, decided that they would focus on the fact that Sarah had some words written on her hand!

This reached high levels of absurdity very quickly, with slow motion replays and all. Frankly, it was simply delicious. It proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the left is done. They literally have nothing left. They have been defeated soundly by this housewife and mother from Wasilla, Alaska!

While the left was tying itself in knots with their mental gymnastics over Sarah’s scriblings, Sarah was on the move. Taped on Saturday, an interview with Chris Wallace for
Fox News Sunday was next:

To me, this may have been Sarah’s best interview. Part of the credit goes to Chris Wallace. The guy asks the tough questions. No one could accuse this of being a "
soft ball" interview. Poised and confident, this is the kind of interview that makes Sarah shine. This interview was the most watched in FNS history, and beat out all of the other Sunday shows in ratings.

Sarah answered a number of questions that are on the people’s minds, and gave a pretty solid answer about the question of will she or won’t she, regarding 2012.

Of course, there was no time for Sarah to relax and take it all in. Sunday afternoon Sarah was in the Great State of Texas to rally supporters for Governor Rick Perry. It was a large vocal crowd that met her there. Sarah is incredibly popular here in Texas. She represents the strong, independent spirit of the Lone Star State very well. With that in mind, Governor Perry bestowed on her one of the greatest honors a person can achieve, and named Sarah an honorary Texan!

Video of her speech:

Solid, red meat stuff from Sarah Palin!

Oh and the hand thing? Sarah showed the media just how little they, and their criticism matter to her:

As we wrote yesterday, this is why we know Sarah will be our next President. This woman is fearless, and unlike most pols, absolutely doesn’t give a damn what the media thinks of her!

Last June Sarah was talking about the fact that her opposition wanted her to just sit down and shut up. Her response was "
Politically, if I die, I die, but I won’t sit down, and I won’t shut up!" This has turned into a battle cry for all patriots, as Sarah has inspired millions to not "sit down and shut up" and to get out there and let their voices be heard, to make a real difference!

If Sarah Palin never does anything else in her life, she will have had a positive influence on America by just inspiring so many to answer the call to action, and to stand up and hold our corrupt government accountable. Sarah has been one of those who have sparked a real revolution in this country, a revolution that is seeing those corrupt government officials fall, one by one, and real patriots take their places.

This was an incredible weekend for Sarah Palin. Sarah established herself solidly as the true leader in America. There is absolutely no doubt now, that if she chooses that path, the presidency in 2012 is hers. There is simply no other leader in America that has the ability and the courage to bring America back from the brink of disaster.

Rich Galen’s
Mullings column over the weekend reinforces something that has been true since the day Sarah Palin burst onto the national scene. If you remember, during the 2008 campaign, once Sarah was introduced to the world, the Obama campaign rarely ran against, or mentioned John McCain. They were always running against Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin was considered, for their purposes, Obama’s equal.

As Rich points out, Sarah Palin is still Obama’s equal:

* Here's how you know, if you are the President of the United States, that things are going in the wrong direction.

You have scheduled a speech to the Democratic National Committee meeting in Washington, DC.

It snows about 20 inches in Washington, DC weakening your arguments for cap-and-trade legislation

A car spins into the press van traveling with your motorcade

You do the speech and generate headlines like this one from the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram:

Obama Seeks to Rally Glum Dems Amid GOP Challenges

* Meanwhile Sarah Palin's keynote speech to the Tea Party meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, is covered like your State of the Union Address had been two weeks earlier, leading the chattering class to compare your appearance with that of Gov. Palin.

* Palin's speech generated headlines like this in the Nashville Tennessean:

Palin: Tea Party Movement is a Call to Action

* Here's a basic rule of political counter-punching: You want your lowest ranking person in a public fight with your opponent's highest ranking person - preferably your opponent.

* For example, if you are managing the campaign for the guy running against an incumbent for Congress, you want to have the kid who does the morning clips in a public argument with the Congressman.

* That diminishes the Congressman and enhances the clips kid.

* Over weekend the losing candidate for Vice President was, for all intents and purposes, treated as the political equal of the President of the United States.

*This, if you are in the political shop at the White House, is not good.

Now as far as we are concerned, Sarah Palin is far superior to Barack Obama in any and every category, but in the context, Sarah Palin is indeed the equal of the President of the United States. Sarah commands the same amount of attention as the President, and her words are just as powerful as those that come from the Office of the President.

As we witnessed throughout the summer and fall of 2009 and still witness today, just a few words written by Sarah on Facebook have the power to change history. While she didn’t do it alone, Sarah’s tough talk on both
ObamaCare and cap and tax helped scuttle both disastrous initiatives.

Sarah commands our attention and respect because she is working hard. Sarah is working hard to take the commonsense conservative message to everyone in the country. With that in mind, Monday morning, Sarah was still in Houston and appeared as a motivational speaker at a business conference headlined by some of our nation’s strongest leaders that included herself, Rudy Giuliani, Lou Holtz, Zig Ziegler, Colin Powell, and Microsoft President Rick Belluzzo.

Once that was over, Sarah was on her way to Redding, California where she had two sold out appearances at the
Sierra Cascade Loggers Conference. You can read more here.

Oh, and written on the palm of her hand: "
Loggers Rule!"
