Powerful Video: Israel's Critical Security Needs for a Viable Peace

http://www.jcpa.org - Israel, in any future agreement with the Palestinians, has a critical need for defensible borders. This video outlines the threats to Israel from terrorist rockets, ballistic missiles, and conventional ground and air threats from the east.

The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs has released this short, powerful video that explains why Obama's insane insistence that Israel return to it's pre-1967 borders is a death sentence for the nation and her people.

Even as our president turns his back on our friends and coddles our enemies, the American people have, and always will stand firm with Israel.

I saw a comment today, talking about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, that truly expresses the Israeli and American spirit. That love of Freedom and Liberty all men have in their very soul, and what they will do obtain it, and keep it. It bears repeating:

A country has a gun to its head, missiles pointed at her children, and its back to the sea while being surrounded by enemies for decades, yet manages to produce men of such courage and character as this. There is something to be said of hardship. For hardship breeds hard men of character. Ease breeds men who lack courage and conviction to stand for anything. If there is any good that will come out of these Obama-years, it will be a winnowing of the talentless and useless individuals of low morals that merely occupy space.

Compare And Contrast

I wonder who Netanyahu wishes was running this country right about now .....

Benjamin Netanyahu To Obama: Get Real!

We both believe that a peace based on allusions will crash on the rocks of Middle East Reality....The only peace that will endure is ones that are based on reality...unshakable facts.

~ Benjamin Netanyahu

I find myself in an odd position. I'm actually rooting against the president and for a foreign leader. What Obama has done is unacceptable. It's immoral. It simply cannot be tolerated.

After a long meeting between Prime Minister Netanyahu, and Obama, the two had a press conference. Netanyahu started off cordially thanking our president for his time, then proceeded to school him on how it was going to be.

Netanyahu was strong and firm. He told Obama that its time to tell the Palestinians that "It's not going to happen. Everybody knows it's not going to happen," referring to the plan Obama proposed. While the refugees need a place to live, he said, "It's not going to be resolved within the Jewish state."

Netanyahu puts the onus on the Palestinians to get their house in order.

Strong leader with strong message.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Initial Statement On Obama's Middle East Speech

By Gary P Jackson

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's reaction to Obama's speech:

Israel appreciates President Obama’s commitment to peace. Israel believes that for peace to endure between Israelis and Palestinians, the viability of a Palestinian state cannot come at the expense of the viability of the one and only Jewish state.

That is why Prime Minister Netanyahu expects to hear a reaffirmation from President Obama of U.S. commitments made to Israel in 2004, which were overwhelmingly supported by both Houses of Congress.

Among other things, those commitments relate to Israel not having to withdraw to the 1967 lines which are both indefensible and which would leave major Israeli population centers in Judea and Samaria beyond those lines.

Those commitments also ensure Israel’s well-being as a Jewish state by making clear that Palestinian refugees will settle in a future Palestinian state rather than in Israel.

Without a solution to the Palestinian refugee problem outside the borders of Israel, no territorial concession will bring peace.

Equally, the Palestinians, and not just the United States, must recognize Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people, and any peace agreement with them must end all claims against Israel.

Prime Minister Netanyahu will make clear that the defense of Israel requires an Israeli military presence along the Jordan River.

Prime Minister Netanyahu will also express his disappointment over the Palestinian Authority’s decision to embrace Hamas, a terror organization committed to Israel’s destruction, as well as over Mahmoud Abbas’s recently expressed views which grossly distort history and make clear that Abbas seeks a Palestinian state in order to continue the conflict with Israel rather than end it.

Official photos and a short video report detailing Sarah Palin and her husband Todd's visit with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara.

Palin, who is known for her uncompromising support for the State of Israel, told Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, that she was received warmly by the Israelis and also told them all about her tour of the country, which included seeing sites in Jerusalem (such as the Kotel) and the Dead Sea. In most places, Palin saw firsthand the atmosphere of the holiday of Purim, and the Netanyahu couple told the potential candidate for President of the United States all about the Book of Esther and the traditions of Purim.

Before leaving, Palin signed the Prime Minister’s residence guestbook and wrote: "Such an amazing country! God bless you. May our connection continue to grow and strengthen."

We are pleased that Sarah Palin is affirming the United States' solidarity with Israel, something our current President can't seem to be bothered with.
