Despite The Corrupt Media's Best Efforts, "The Undefeated" Has A Phenomenal Opening Weekend

So I woke up on Friday morning, the national opening for Stephen Bannon's hit documentary, The Undefeated, and what do I see? Some cat named Conor Friedersdorf [no wonder he's bitter] The Atlantic's pretend "conservative", phonied up a story about being at the opening of the movie, and no one was there.

The problem with this narrative is this "opening" was at midnight, Thursday night, not advertised, and the movie officially opened on Friday. Yes, I know midnight is technically Friday, but you get where I'm coming from. This bitter little fellow wrote a scathing piece, and of course the rest of the corrupt, blood libel media picked up on it and spread this phony story, hoping to depress turnout. It didn't work.

As the day rolled on, reports began coming in of sold out shows from coast to coast. Several theaters had to move the film to a larger theater to accommodate the crowds. There were also reports of loud cheering throughout the movie, and in Atlanta, at the end of the movie the audience gave creator Stephen Bannon a five minute standing ovation!

The media was still trying to keep it's meme going though, with many local stations just flat out lying about the movie and attendance numbers. CNN sent it's crew to the Atlanta opening trying to ambush attendees.

Reuters dismissed the first sold out show reported, in Grapevine, Texas as insignificant, because "Grapevine is just a small town." Yeah it's a "small town" located in the middle of the Dallas-Ft Worth Metroplex. Dallas is the 9th largest city in America, and Ft Worth the 17th. Their combined population, not counting the couple dozen [or more] "small towns" that lie between and around the two cities, the Metroplex combined population is roughly equal to Houston's, the 4th largest city in the country.So much for Reuters.

As there were two theaters in Texas showing The Undefeated Grapevine and Houston, people had good choices. Both locations drew people from hundreds of miles away. The Grapevine location drew people from Oklahoma and Louisiana, as well as Central Texas, which is over 100 miles away. Houston drew people from South Texas and the Beaumont-Orange area. A nice little drive.

As we watched throughout the day, more and more reports came in as enthusiastic fans filled the seats. While everyone focused on the prime time showings, the ones sure to sell out, we also noticed in many cities the afternoon showings either sold out, or were only a handful of seats away from doing so. This enthusiasm would carry over to Saturday, when even more shows sold out.

Percentage wise, only Harry Potter had a better opening weekend than The Undefeated. This is amazing because Victory Films did no traditional advertising. This was all done via the internet and word of mouth. The Twitter campaign alone was incredible. Obviously Palin supporters worked hard to make this happen as well, knowing this movie is a game changer, and tells the story that no one but long time, hard core supporters know. And even for the long timers, this movie reveals more about Sarah Palin and what an excellent chief executive she is.

There were all kinds of stories of people dragging non-Palin supporters with them to the movie, and many converts being made. Notably one Conservative blogger, Ben Howe, one of the folks who actually believed the corrupt media's version of Sarah, rather than the truth, has said that both he and his wife felt nothing but shame after seeing the movie, because they now realize how wrong they were to believe the media, and the GOP establishment's narrative.

This past weekend was nothing short of phenomenal. Bannon is now talking about a larger nationwide roll-out, as well as a deal with Wal-Mart to distribute DVDs.

Ultimately, I thought she was the type of political force that was going to be around, needed to be treaded on carefully, but would never have anything substantial to offer to the cause of conservatism other than rallying troops which I still believed was a valuable service.

I thought she hadn’t gotten a fair shake in the media, but I felt confident that I could see through the bias and that I understood who she was, what she had done and what my opinion would probably be about her going forward.

I was entirely incorrect.

I consider the director of “The Undefeated”, Stephen Bannon, to be a friend of mine. He’s advised me in my own fledgling productions. I’ve interviewed him a handful of times on my podcast and we always talk for over an hour effortlessly. When I heard he was making this film, I immediately wanted to interview him, but I assumed that everything I knew about Palin would simply be confirmed by watching this.

We popped the film into our DVD player, and sat back to watch. One thing I had no doubts about was that Stephen Bannon would make a visually impressive, compelling film that would stir emotion. I was pleased to see that he used his trademark method of letting the people directly tied to the events tell the story (I often find narration cumbersome) adding their own particular emotions and perspectives to the narrative. These were all things that I expected and Bannon did not disappoint.

The film moves at a breakneck pace while still laying out a level of detail that brings you so close to the events, you feel like you personally experienced them.

Even had the substance not convinced me that I had Mrs. Palin pegged wrong, the film itself would most certainly have scored high for me as my all important test was passed: Did I look at my watch? No I did not.
In short, the execution of this film is excellent.

But what had me and my wife blown away by the time it was over, was the avalanche of information and perspectives that had been hidden from us over the years. As I would like for you to listen to my interview with Steve, I will not get into the substance of what caused the change. I want you to hear it for yourself.

I pride myself on my ability to know when something is baloney, almost instinctively. On Sarah Palin, I was so incredibly hoodwinked that the one word that my wife and I agreed described how we felt after watching it, was shame. Yes of course invigoration, satisfaction and all the other things you experience when watching a good film, but about how we had handled our vetting of Mrs. Palin, shame was the word that best described it.

Shame for not bothering to look up her record. Shame for not reading her story. Shame for turning the channel when she came on the TV. Shame for not listening to people that we had a great deal of respect for like Andrew Breitbart, Tammy Bruce, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

As Breitbart points out in the film, the greatest shame is that while this woman was savaged to degrees you may not even realize yet, some of us sat back and let it happen. For me to buy into the media template and not defend someone who’s only offense was being a conservative, is the absolute antithesis of what I stand for, and something that I shall never allow to happen again.

The bottom line is this movie, in a short time, with nothing but word of mouth advertising, via Twitter and Facebook, is a great success.

It is indeed a game changer. Palin supporters are making a point of taking their non-Palin supporting friends and neighbors to see the movie. Not only are these folks seeing the real Sarah Palin for the first time, they are learning why they should support Sarah. You can bet these converts will go out and find other people to convert as well. This is why the media has been working so hard to make people think no one is going to see the movie, or that the movie sucks. They understand just how powerful Bannon's movie is, as well as how powerful Sarah Palin is.

Bannon made this movie because our media is corrupt, and carries the water for Obama and the democrat party, and lie about important events that effect the nation. The actions by this corrupt media this weekend prove his point.

Operation Backfire: E-Mails Prove Sarah Palin Was A Great Governor

It seems the once respected leaders of the newspaper industry are fast becoming indistinguishable from the lowliest of supermarket tabloids. The Media Research Center reported this:

…the state of Alaska is releasing 24,000 official emails from Sarah Palin’s term as governor. The liberal media cannot wait to dig through these emails, hoping for fodder to continue their vicious attacks. Both The Washington Post and The New York Times have gone a step further by asking readers to sign up on their websites as amateur Palin bashers and help them to look for dirt.

Would these two so-called "news" organizations actively canvass readers to dig up dirt on Bill Clinton or Anthony Weiner?.

Anyone with any common sense knew this was going to come back to bite the liberals and the liberal media in the rear. The emails are simply reaffirming what we already knew.

Governor Palin conducted the business of her state in a transparent, bi-partisan, and responsible manner. She worked long, hard hours and treated everyone with respect. America is finding out that Palin is a smart, effective, fiscally responsible leader whose goal has always been to serve the people she represents.

She knows how to prioritize, delegate, and choose the most qualified and competent people to serve with her. America is learning that even in the face of death threats from crazed liberals, Gov. Palin just kept working and putting Alaska and Alaskans first.

Here is one example of the shocking secrets exposed in the emails. We learn that…[Emphasis mine]

The governor's goal has always been to introduce a gasline bill on day one of the session, but we want to get it right with a good product. The gasline team is recommending that the bill be delayed to continue to work through the vetting process with the experts. That's where it is now.

We have the bill with the concepts and the details, but it is going through the experts' hands right now. We don't want to introduce a bill just to introduce a bill and meet a goal. Delaying the bill's introduction gives experts the chance to weigh-in and ensures that the best product goes before the Legislature. She amended a line of the story that instead of stating that a bill will be introduced in the first week of the session, she wrote that a bill will be introduced in the first weeks of the session. I forwarded this paragraph from the weekend and she was going to draw upon it to further define the law of general application.

The governor has (long) stated that the obsolete Stranded Gas Development

Act was the improper legal vehicle for negotiating a viable and profitable contract. Therefore, the governor's gas cabinet is working around the clock to draft a bill seeking a law of general application, when passed, this law will bring transparency to a competitive process, will jumpstart construction with valuable incentives, and will maximize the return on a gasline for both the state and the project proponent.

The Palin Administration will be introducing this bill in the upcoming legislative session as soon as the bill has been vetted through experts. As to the Port Authority Board and ANGDA sharing information, I applaud any efforts by any potential applicants to join forces, including the three primary North Slope producers, in whatever manner they deem appropriate to eventually submit the most attractive and beneficial proposal for the Administration's consideration under the new law.

We also learned that Piper wanted to go for a walk with her mom one day and that Ivy Frye had bought a new pair of rain boots to wear while hiking the rain-soaked streets in Juneau. Our sources have not yet informed us whether or not Andree McLeod or Jeanne Devon plans to launch an ethics charge against either Governor Palin or Piper for this egregious behavior.

This ill-fated, biased attempt to besmirch the Governor has been labeled "Operation Backfire" by Jedediah Bila. To their great chagrin, the most damning criticism the left has been able to wrap their sharpened talons around are the typos. How ironic that the left’s big expose is turning into Governor Palin’s best campaign advertising. Game on, ladies and gentlemen.

Corrupt Washington Post Hires Disgraced Former Palin Staffer As E-Mail "Expert"

You just thought the Washington Post hit rock bottom with their Palin e-mail nonsense, which BTW, has produced the exact opposite results they intended. These e-mails are proving Sarah Palin was a hard working Governor, a solid reformer, and an incredible CEO.

Liberals are stupid though, especially those in the media, so WaPo is doubling down. They've went out and hired disgraced former Palin staffer Frank Bailey to be their e-mail "expert."

If you remember, Bailey, the only Palin staffer to ever be forced to take ethics training by the state, because of his behavior, allowed far left loon, and Obama blogger, Jeanne Devon, to put his name on a fantasy book she wrote, pretending to be a serious work discussing Bailey's time on Sarah Palin's staff, using e-mails stolen from the state archives.

For his efforts, Bailey is under investigation by Alaska's Attorney General.

Alas, the book has been a dismal failure sales wise, so Bailey, a crapweasel of the highest order, is looking for a new way to scam someone out of money while cashing in on the job he once had on Sarah Palin's staff.

Lying Corrupt Bastards At Politico Make Up Palin Quote

A you know, third tier likely presidential candidate Michele Bachmann's hired establishment hack, Ed Rollins, decided his first action right out of the gate would be to trash Sarah Palin. Never mind he was saying the same things about Bachmann .... until she started paying him.

For her part, Sarah Palin has ignored the two, as neither deserve her time. Sarah's Chief of Staff, Michael Glassner did issue a statement about Rollins, which you can read here.

This wasn't good enough for the gutter snipes who work for Politico though. The left wing website constantly looks for ways to start trouble among Republicans and is notorious for using "anonymous sources" i.e., the voices in their heads. They are also notorious for lying about Sarah Palin and anyone connected to her.

This time they went further than normal. They actually made up a quote and attributed it to Sarah Palin. Under the title Will rivalry make Sarah Palin run? Paul Goldman and Mark J. Rozell [yeah, it takes two of these crapweasels to write this nonsense] wrote the following paragraph: [emphasis mine]

Palin’s bus tour had some of the hallmarks of a primal scream: I built this constituency, not Bachmann, not anyone else. Looking at it through her eyes, she has a point.

Now anyone who's paying attention knows Sarah Palin routinely rejects the idea that she's somehow the leader of the Tea Party movement. She speaks quite humbly about her own political strengths. The hacks at Politico give the impression though, that those words came out of her mouth.

SarahPAC has released the following statement on the Governor's behalf:

An absurd opinion piece in Politico includes a quote attributed to Governor Palin that is a total fabrication and yet is deliberately written to appear as if it is a legitimate direct quote. By any standard this is unacceptable even for an opinion piece. This puts us in mind of a real quote of something Governor Palin actually did once say to the media: "Quit making stuff up."

For those that remember the huge JournOList scandal, it's good to remember that Politico has more known members of that corrupt cabal, than any other "news" site. Politico engages in gutter journalism and should never be taken as a serious news source. The fact is, they lie when the truth would work better.

N.Y. Times And WaPo Ask Readers To Do Anti-Palin Research For The Obama Regime

This is simply breathtaking. Just when you think it couldn't go any lower, the corrupt blood libel media, proves us all wrong. This bunch isn't even trying to hide their slobbering love for Obama any more. Not only are they actively trying to re-elect Dear Leader, they're asking their readers to join in with them.

The State of Alaska has released all of Sarah Palin's official e-mails, around 24,000 of them. Now the hacks at the New York Times and the Washington Post are asking their readers to help them "research" all of these e-mails by signing up online and going to town.

Now this is the same bunch that was just covering up for major pervert, democrat Congressman Anthony Weiner, who was blaming a "right wing hacker" for the photos of "Little Anthony" that he, himself, tweeted to a young girl. Of course, the perv has now admitted he's a liar, and in fact, sent the tweets, but these same corrupt media bastards still have his back.

In 2008 the Democrat Industrial Media Complex ™ conspired to kill reporting on Barack Obama's vile anti-American, pro-Hamas terrorist preacher, his ties to murdering domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and his cop-killer wife. They covered up all reporting of anti-American Communist Frank Marshall Davis, Obama's mentor from his early years. Oh, and the Los Angeles Times still has the tape of pre-election Obama at a dinner for a Hamas terrorist where Obama praises the terrorist and slams Israel. [according to those who've seen it] Of course the Times thought that tape had no value whatsoever during the 2008 election.

No.Value. Whatsoever.

On the other hand, the Associated Press put, what, a dozen "fact checkers" on Sarah Palin's books looking for grammatical errors!

What's interesting to me is the democrats, their media partners, the liberal loons who stop by here to comment, and the GOP establishment elites all tell us that Sarah Palin is insignificant, unelectable, uneducated, and so on. For someone who supposedly couldn't get vote one in an election, and matters not in the grand scheme of things, all of these groups sure seem to spend every waking moment worried sick about her.

Could it be all of these groups, the democrats, their media partners, and the GOP hacks are fibbing to us?

The dems, their media mouth pieces, and the GOP squishes all tell us Mitt Romney is the one leading the pack, and some poll just put Romney ahead of Obama in a head to head race. And yet, there is no "Stop Mitt Romney before we all die!" campaign going on. In fact, these same democrat media mouthpieces are saying good things about Romney. Of course the fact that he shares an ideology closer to Obama, than any random Conservative on the street, might have SOMETHING to do with that, but still, if Romney was really a threat to take out the most radical leftist the dems have ever managed to get elected, wouldn't they be jumping up and down trying to stop him?

We're not talking about the general election yet. We're talking about the Republican primary, and the only one who puts the fear into the hearts of the Ruling Class, in both parties, is Sarah Palin.

The Ruling Class knows that if Sarah Palin enters the races as a candidate for President, she will win the primary, and the general handily. If there was any doubt about this, her successful bus tour on the East Coast should have ended that.

Sarah Palin's record in Alaska is that of strong leadership. She got things done. As Governor alone, she accomplished more than most politicians will in a lifetime. She's a reformer who puts principle over party. After all, it was corrupt Republicans she sent to prison. For the Ruling Class [in both parties] a President Sarah Palin means it's game over. No more business as usual. No more "good old boy" deals.

The Washington Post has created a Twitter account for their little scheme: @PalinEmails. In my opinion that would be a great vehicle to use to ask the Post if they are going to investigate the $10 billion Obama sent to Brazil's Petrobas three days after George Soros bought controlling interest in the oil company. As well as his recent trip there, where he told the nation's leaders he wanted the United States to be their biggest customers.

Or maybe they can look into the big Soros/Al Gore/Maurice Strong/Goldman Sachs/Obama $10 trillion Chicago Climate Exchange deal. Or maybe you can ask WaPo if they'll pressure the L.A. Times to release that tape where Obama praises a Hamas terrorist, and trashes Israel. Then we can see if the rumors, that the dance troupe that was there performed simulated ritual beheadings as part of it's performance, are true.

There's a lot that America doesn't know about Barack Obama's shady past. Might as well start asking the corrupt media to look into it!

On the other hand, I think it's safe to say that Sarah Palin is the most vetted candidate for any office in modern history. If there was anything bad out there, it would have surfaced by now, that's for certain. 

Yes, America, Sarah Palin Was Invited To Rolling Thunder

On Friday we published an article talking about patriot riders of Rolling Thunder praising Sarah and Todd Palin's acceptance to ride in their event Sunday to raise awareness of former P.O.W.s and those still missing in action.

Rolling Thunder is a wonderful organization full of real patriots, and Sarah Palin, the mother of an Iraq War veteran, as well as a former Commander-in-Chief of two military forces supports the military, and military charities regularly.

Sadly, Rolling Thunder's "legislative director," Ted Shpak, instead of checking with others, ran to the nearest MSNBC cameras and started trash talking.

Long story short, Shpak created a real mess. Even as we reported Nancy Regg had confirmed days ago that Sarah and Todd had been invited, the damage to the organization, and Sarah Palin's reputation was being done.

Now it seems Rolling Thunder's media director, Christine Colborne, has set the record straight. Yes, Sarah and Todd were invited to ride. Ed Morrissey at Hot Air was able contact Colborne and set the record straight:

After I read this story last night, I got in contact with Christine Colborne, who handles the media for Rolling Thunder. She explained that Shpak didn’t know that Palin had been indeed invited to ride at the event. The invitation came from a retired board member, Michael DiPaolo, who had connections in Alaska and got Palin to agree to attend.

Requests for high-profile personalities to attend the event are not new. Colborne mentioned that actor Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day) attended at least one of the Rolling Thunder events, as have other celebrities, usually just to ride with a lower profile. Most times, though, those requests don’t even get responses, let alone acceptances. That’s a shame, because the Rolling Thunder event highlights the issues surrounding American POWs and MIAs from the Vietnam War and later conflicts, as well as providing support to their families, who really need the emotional support they get from this group of volunteer veterans.

Colborne spoke with me on the phone in the middle of an all-night car ride to Washington DC, and explained that the last-minute RSVP didn’t get communicated through the echelons of Rolling Thunder. Everyone is either in transit or already in DC, and internal communication broke down as often happens before a major event. Shpak (and Colborne) were taken by surprise by Palin’s announcement. Shpak does have the authority to speak for the organization, Colborne says, but he had no idea that Palin was invited by DiPaolo, and Shpak worried that Palin’s arrival might be a “big distraction” from the issues on which Rolling Thunder wants people to focus. Obviously, Shpak — a Vietnam veteran himself — feels passionate about defending the organization, but went on NBC with faulty information. Shpak, Colborne, and almost everyone else at Rolling Thunder are volunteers, just ordinary people doing extraordinary work, and that means they get the occasional hiccup.

Ed is too kind. Having worked events that need coordination, and a bit of media savvy, one thing I learned the hard way is to never go shooting one's mouth off before one has all the facts.

Now I may be wrong, maybe Shpak made a good faith effort to contact someone.... anyone .... to see if the Palin's had been invited, and got no answer, or even a faulty answer. What I don't get though is why Shpak went directly to the most far left "news" organization on the planet to spout off. What purpose did it serve? Having a high profile leader attending your event is not a "big distraction." The reason people like Sarah Palin are invited to these events is to help spotlight them. BTW, these events are open to any and all, and no invitation is needed.

Now we have an entire issue surrounding an event that is all about honoring our nation's heroes.

The members who ride with Rolling Thunder are incredible. They do great work. That's why this entire event makes me sad.

I could go on and on about speculating if Shpak has a political agenda.I could speculate why Shpak went to MSNBC, a company whose CEO is in bed with the Obama regime, and runs hit pieces on Sarah Palin daily. I could also go on and on about the amount of positive attention having a world leader like Sarah Palin in attendance brings. What I really want to know though is who does Sarah Palin need to see to get her reputation back?

Sarah Palin on Defeating Obama in 2012: "I have that fire in my belly"

I think my problem is that I do have that fire in my belly. I am so adamantly supportive of the good traditional things about America and our free enterprise system and I want to make sure that America is put back on the right track and we only do that by defeating Obama in 2012. I have that fire in my belly.

This is a great interview. Sarah Palin pretty much answers THE question, without "officially" answering it. But there is much more.

Sarah is still taking Newt Gingrich to the woodshed and goes after the rest of the "good old boys" of the GOP establishment:

You know what I thought after the whole Newt Gingrich thing in these last 24 hours, Greta, was ‘bless his heart and every other Good Ol’ boy’s heart that’s in that political game there in the beltway. They don’t really know any more than the rest of us.’

Greta, it was Newt Gingrich who told me in January of this year “Sarah Palin needs to slow down and really think through what it is she has to say.” Well you know, he stumbles too. We all stumble. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses and I think what you’re going to see is a field of candidates that are pretty much all on par. It’s going to be a level playing field and our records and our intentions for what it is that we want to see this country become will be what the voters will have to judge us on. Not these little slip-ups.

A lot of the interview is also dedicated to discussing how to handle the corrupt media, and what the media's real role is in vetting candidates for high office, something they obviously failed to do with Obama.

Jason Mattera, editor of Human Events, shares parts of his interview with Conservative media giant, Andrew Breitbart. Here Breitbart discusses how Sarah Palin, unlike the rest of the GOP, understands how today's pop culture influences everything, including politics, and how to use it.

In fact, not only does Andrew Breitbart think that Palin’s the only GOP candidate to understand how culture influences politics (not vice versa), but he believes that that’s why the mainstream media targeted the former Alaska governor. "They want to destroy her," he told us, "because they [media] recognize that she has a transcendent pop culture factor."

Here’s Part Three of our interview with the author of the brand-new book, Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World, in which he discusses what makes Palin so appealing, and why establishment Republicans should take notice.

Jason and Andrew, while discussing other presidents who "got" pop culture, left one former President out. Richard Nixon understood the power of culture, and famously appeared on the hip, and very edgy show [for it's day] Laugh-In, where he said "Sock it to me!(?)" one of the hip phrases of the day. It was remarkable because he came off as "the man" TRYING to be hip, but it worked. People liked Nixon for it.

I think normal people Sarah Palin's age [and mine] are quite comfortable with pop culture, and take it for granted.

People born in the late 50's, early 60s, who came of age in the 1970s and 1980s were exposed to a different world than our elders. Our culture was more media driven. Not to mean it was all shallow, or superficial, it's just we were used to more media exposure from a variety of sources, than our parents, and frankly, to most of us, it just "was". It had always been with us, so it didn't seem out of place.

My parents, and their contemporaries could, and would, quote Will Rogers and Mark Twain, among others. That was their "pop culture." People my age quote classic lines from Caddyshack, Animal House, and Saturday Night Live! It is what it is.

The Republican establishment has so insulated itself from the real world, by embracing the Washington Beltway, are totally clueless. They have forgotten what the real world is like, and they are so set in their ways, they'll never embrace the new world.

This, by the way, is what happens when one of the GOP establishment tries to act hip. If that's not pathetic enough, it just so happens that was a Martin Luther King Day rally in Jacksonville, Florida in 2008! Kids, and establishment Republican presidential wannabees, don't try this at home!

Speaking of Sarah Palin, her nemesis during the ’08 campaign was Katie Couric, who was not really trying give American voters information about this possible vice president, but was instead out to humiliate her.

Palin got the last laugh, Breitbart says, when CBS dismissed Couric for her abysmal ratings. "When I watch Katie Couric lose her job, that is a victory in this battle, because that person has manipulated media in the name of objectivity to take people down."

How The GOP Establishment And The Media Are Trying To Stop Sarah Palin From Running For President

The Republican Establishment has always been hostile to the Conservatives who make up the solid base of the party. Oh, they'll take your money, and your vote, but past that, you need to sit down and shut up. They know better than us rubes.

The elites REALLY hated Ronald Reagan. To the GOP country club set, Reagan was a "B movie actor" an "amiable dunce" and someone who was not "intellectually curious." Sounds familiar, doesn't it!

It's the default position they take on everyone who isn't one of them.

How often do we find the GOP establishment sounding like the far left, when they talk about solid Conservatives?

By the way, the above comments were the nice things they said about Reagan. Both the GOP and the left were screaming that if elected, Reagan would start a nuclear war with the Soviet Union. The fear mongering was incredible.

The establishment pretty much pushed George H.W. Bush on Reagan as his running mate, and even then, that wasn't good enough for the liberal leaning country clubbers, who ran former congressman John Anderson as a third Party candidate.

In fact, this is why, despite an electoral college blowout, Reagan only received 50.1 percent of the popular vote in 1980. Though it wasn't even close, one has to wonder if the GOP elites real agenda was to bleed off enough votes to give Carter a second term, rather than see Reagan, a real reformer come to power.

Nothing has changed with the establishment either. In the spring of 2009 Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney and others went on a ridiculous "listening tour." Speaking for the group, Bush proclaimed the era of Reagan was over, that it’s time for the Republican Party to give up its "nostalgia" for the heyday of the Reagan era and look forward, even if it means stealing the winning strategy deployed by Democrats in the 2008 election.

Clueless. Utterly clueless. They held their first meeting at a pizza joint in Arlington, Virginia. The National Council for a New America (NCNA) didn't last long. When you can't even get people to show up when you have pizza and beer ....

By the way, as if to put an exclamation point on the Bush/Romney lunacy, it was the return of Reagan ideals, and Reagan principles, that saw Conservative Republicans win a historic election in November of 2010. They took back the House in a big way, gained in the Senate, moved into Governor's mansions nationwide, and saw an unprecedented shift in state legislatures, as over 650 democrats lost their jobs to Republicans. Some states went Republican for the first time since Reconstruction. [after the Civil War]

It seems the country clubbers' reports of Reagan's demise were greatly exaggerated.

So .... what we see happening to Sarah Palin is nothing new. It's just the "good old boys" doing what they always do.

With that said, the GOP elites fear Sarah Palin as much, if not more than the left does. They certainly fear her more than they did Reagan, something I once thought impossible.

Sarah Palin has proven she has no patience for corrupt, go along, get along, business as usual Republicans.

In Alaska she took on the entire Republican Party, which was swimming in corruption. Serious corruption. The FBI was marching politicians off to prison months after Sarah took office as Governor. Even GOP party chair Randy Ruedrich was hammered, and paid the largest fine in Alaska's history. As a result, the Alaska GOP refused to put Governor Palin's photo on their website. Childish and petty, but that's the elite mindset.

Despite the sniping and nonsensically attacks, both the GOP and the media know that Sarah Palin is a strong, capable leader, and if elected would shake things up, and change Washington forever. She will mess up the elites' little playhouse.

Now if you follow these things closely, none of this is new to you, as you see it all the time in the news. And if you read the comments sections on many websites, you'll see this sort of nonsense parroted by fans of the RINO crowd.

It's really interesting to watch. You'll never hear Sarah Palin, or any of her supporters say a candidate shouldn't run for office.

Well, except for Trump, but that's just me.

Oh, we may think they are unqualified, or a disaster waiting to happen, but no one will tell them not to run. Competition is good. It makes the best candidates better. Keeps them sharp.

On the other hand, the Republican establishment is flat out saying Sarah Palin shouldn't even run. As former Carter and Mondale staffer, and faux conservative Charles Krauthammer once said: "She needs to leave the room."

This was during the debate on ObamaCare, right after she coined the term "death panels." That was only the turning point in the entire debate, and she has been proven right a thousand times over, but since she's not from the right side of the tracks, little elites like Charles dismiss her, just as he did Ronald Reagan during his time.

Let's look at just a few of these:

1. Be a kingmaker (or queenmaker)

As noted by the likes of Grover Norquist and many other pundits and establishment Republicans, Palin, their reasoning goes, would best serve the party as a kingmaker. What they are essentially saying (try to follow the logic) is that Palin's endorsement should be the gold standard but her candidacy would not be appreciated. Even more ironic is that should Palin run, it diminishes the kingmaking capabilities of the traditional and spoiled cast of characters who are used to getting their brass rings kissed every four years.

This one probably pisses me off the most, though there are several more running for that "honor."

As pointed out, the logic behind this one is insane. In 2010 Sarah Palin's endorsement was the only one actively sought, and the one that brought great success. She endorsed over 100 candidates in local, state, and national races, over 60 of them won.

Most notably were candidates like South Carolina's new Governor, Nikki Haley. Haley was stuck in dead last, fourth place, even after establishment candidate Mitt Romney endorsed her. Sarah came in, made her endorsement in person, and Nikki was immediately the front runner, and of course won big. Plenty more stories like that from 2010.

So how is it that someone, who's endorsement is the gold standard, isn't worthy of endorsing herself, and making a run?

Here's how I look at it: Anyone who NEEDS a kingmaker is not fit to be king, and anyone who can BE a kingmaker CAN be king him or herself. In Sarah Palin's case that goes double.

There was a variation of this when the GOP was throwing Michael Steele under the bus. All of a sudden the elites thought they had found the "perfect" job for Sarah! A way to use her significant managerial talents, and fund raising ability, and keep her tied up so she couldn't run for President. There was column after column written proclaiming Sarah was the absolute perfect person to become RNC chairman. We had a different idea.

It's pretty insulting, when you really think about it. The elites want Sarah to do all the heavy lifting, then get out of the way so they can reap the benefits. They are just too cowardly to say what they are thinking: They'd rather she be barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen makin' sandwiches!

After she's done all of their work for them, of course.

3. You're too divisive

Another argument is that Palin would be too divisive to win a general election. And the only thing those who say this cite are polls released over a year before any voter of importance started paying attention to the election. In these early polls, there is probably some type of Palin effect (or a reverse-Bradley/Wilder effect), as Sheya at Conservatives4Palin noted, where voters either do not want to tell pollsters they support Palin for fear they would sound stupid or are withholding their potential support until she announces her candidacy, if she indeed does.

Further, as Pollinsider noted, Palin always has a strong floor, which potentially helps her in the primary (if the GOP primary has many entrants) and the general election (2012 may be a "base" election like 2004 where turnout matters, so the floor that Palin starts off with would give her significant advantages over other candidates who do not have that built in floor).

Ronald Reagan was "divisive" too. He was so divisive he won two landslide elections! In fact, Reagan was a mere 0.18 percent away from winning all 50 states in 1984.

Polarizing is another word they use. Like Barack Obama isn't polarizing?

We live in a polarized nation. You have the extreme left, and Conservatives. The mushy middle, those sainted, sacred moderates, that we are constantly told we must pander to, are almost non-existent these days. At this point you either want to return to First Principals and the constitutional republican form of government created by our founders, or be part of the "Glorious Communist Revolution" the democrat party is selling. There simply is no other choice. No middle ground.

The fact is, Conservatism, real conservatism, works every time it's tried, and solid Conservatives win elections. Especially presidential elections. All one needs is an articulate candidate who can actually walk the walk.

That would be Sarah Palin.

Here's the truth about polls, especially this early. They are at best meaningless. At this point in the 2008 race the whole world just knew the contest would be between Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton. As late as mid-1980, Ronald Reagan was 31 points down to Jimmy Carter. Reagan carried 44 states and Carter a mere 6.

What polling now is really about, is the media's attempt to set a narrative. If one digs deep into the internals, it's easy to spot the methodology used to get the results desired. You can manipulate samples and questions to achieve any result you want. One simply can't take these as any sort of "snapshot" of reality. The only polling that matters is the one taken on election day.

Another thing Sarah's detractors put out there is her approval ratings. I lived through the Reagan era, and the attacks on him were vile. Just nasty and very hateful. I remember editorials about Reagan's age, complete with illustrations of Reagan in the morgue, implying he would die as soon as he took office, so why bother.

One could find Reagan was portrayed as an evil genius and a senile old man, in the same article! A lazy dunce who couldn't do anything and an evil warmonger who couldn't wait to destroy the world.

It was sickening.

They were NOTHING compared to the vitriol we see thrown at Sarah Palin though. Nothing is off limits . Sarah, her husband, and her children are all "fair game" to this bunch. The left and their media partners have thrown everything at her including the kitchen sink, so yeah, her numbers may be a tad low. As Sarah herself has said many times: "If I believed everything I read about me, I wouldn't like me either!"

Many detractors use these sort of things to say she's "damaged goods" and we need to pick a candidate the media will like. Problem with that is, if we pick a candidate the media will truly like, he'll be a democrat!

Republicans were fooled in 2008, as they usually are. John McCain, bless his heart, was the media darling. He was every left wing commentators favorite Republican. "If only John McCain would run for President," they loudly proclaimed. "He is a republican we could support!" That lasted until he got the nomination, of course, then the long knives came out.

The New York Times endorsed McCain in the Primary with glowing stories, then as soon as the nomination was secured, started running bogus reports that John had been having an affair with a lobbyist. Sickening, but that's how they work.

The media always sets the narrative the Republicans must choose a "moderate" candidate or risk losing those precious little darlings. Of course, the Republican establishment always buys into this nonsense, as do way too many GOP voters.

Barack Obama is the most far left radical ever to run for President, let alone be elected. Somehow I missed all of the articles from the "concerned" media warning the democrats about the need for a "moderate" candidate.

Why Republicans continue to fall for this media nonsense is beyond me.

In 2007-2008 it was common knowledge the left was holding their fire on Mike Huckabee because they knew he would be an "easy kill" in the general election. Nothing has changed by the way, Huckabee is still an "easy kill" which is why you see the left treating Huckabee nicely now, and the Daily Kos' official pollster, PPP, always manages to find just the right sample to make Huckabee the front runner in their polls.

If Sarah Palin was such a disaster, in the minds of the left, they wouldn't spend every waking moment trying to destroy her! Same goes for the little elites in the Republican Party. Indeed, the left would be propping her up and hoping we'd be "dumb" enough to make her the nominee!

As for the GOP, if she was THAT bad, she'd get destroyed in the primaries and that would be the end of that.

The other problem with those who think Sarah Palin is somehow "damaged" is this: She has been absolutely hammered by the left and weasels in the GOP since September of 2008, and she's still standing tall.

In a way it's a good thing, as Sarah is the most vetted candidate in the history of the Republic! At this point her detractors have nothing else to attack her with. They are down to recycling old attacks from years ago, that didn't work the first time around.

In a way, the haters have inoculated Sarah and made her all but bullet-proof to any attacks.

Put another way, Sarah's numbers have gone as low as they can. They have no where to go but up, and that's what a campaign is for. BTW, people should never forget that among Republicans, Sarah still has higher approval numbers than anyone else, and it's Republicans who decide who their nominee is.

Now let's look at a what would happen to a "media approved" candidate:

Everything would be just peachy until they got the nomination, then all hell would break lose, especially since the media would be trying to protect their messiah, Barack Obama.

They would go to any length to destroy anyone who dare try and take Obama down. But instead of having years to prove they're not the Anti-Christ, the poor hapless Republican nominee would have six months, tops, to prove they weren't the devil reincarnate.

Good luck with that.

This media approved candidate would also have to have a spine of steel and set of core principles to match. Of course, if they were that sort, they wouldn't be "media approved" in the first place.

The fact is, Sarah Palin is the one leader who never panders to the media and actually seems to relish the fact she's not in their good graces. She understands if that bunch was loving her, she'd be doing it all wrong.

Sarah has proven she can beat the media at their own game.

The GOP establishment are just as much to blame for the mess this nation is in as the hard left. They have been little more than enablers to extremists. In many cases, they actually agree with them.

You got guys like Romney, who created socialized medicine in America before the left could pull it off, and Tim Pawlenty who is jealous he didn't beat Romney to it! Oh, and don't get me started on Pawlenty's embrace of the global warming fairy tale.

Then there is Newt Gingrich. He's taken being an enabler of the left to a whole 'nuther level!

With "friends" like these, who needs enemies!

The media and the GOP establishment have been working night and day to stop Sarah Palin. They wouldn't be putting out the effort if she wasn't a threat, and you better believe Sarah Palin is a serious threat to business as usual in D.C.

And that's a very good thing!

I started working on this piece before Sarah Palin gave her game changing speech in Madison, Wisconsin, interviewed with Sean Hannity,and hammered Obama on Libya .... twice.

There's a new talking point out there now.

It seems, according to those "concerned" GOPers, that Sarah Palin isn't making the required pilgrimage to Iowa like every good little candidate should.This is a sure sign, they point out, that she isn't up to the task of running.

Besides she'd give up all of the money she's making. Might as well sit this out and "anoint" some feckless loser who'll get slaughtered by Obama in the general election.

After all, it's bound to be someone's "turn."

These people obviously never actually listen to the woman, or are so used to empty rhetoric from their bunch, they don't understand Sarah Palin doesn't do empty rhetoric.

If "Game On!" wasn't plain enough, maybe what Sarah has said over and over since then will help. Sarah has made a point of saying it's way too early for anyone to start running for President. In her mind, there is simply more important things to do, especially since the election is 18 months down the road.

Here's a message to the left wing media and those GOP elites:

If Sarah Palin decides to run, and we're almost certain she will, she will win the Republican nomination and the presidency, handily, and there isn't anything you can do about it.

Sarah Palin Set's The Media Straight On Alaska's Film Production Tax Credit

For Sarah Palin, setting the corrupt media straight is a full time job. The latest lie has to do with tax credits the producers of Sarah Palin's Alaska received. Sarah issued this statement: [emphasis mine]

Goodness, cleaning up the sloppiness of reporters could be a full time job. In response to The Daily Caller's online inquiry, I gave them a statement that the writer buried on his story’s second page (which most people won’t even notice – I didn’t even notice it) after he spent the first page completely spinning a situation to give the impression that Alaska’s film production tax credit legislation was somehow solely my idea hatched up to benefit the Palins years before I was ever involved in a documentary series on TLC/Discovery Channel. Here’s setting the record straight: As Governor, I signed into law a popular bipartisan bill that was crafted and passed by others and has resulted in numerous Alaska-based productions that are airing today. The only alternative to signing the legislature’s work product would have been for me to veto their legislation, which would have been useless. Besides all that, their legislation worked.

This bill was not some secret big government agenda. These Alaskan legislators just wanted Alaska to be able to compete with the many other states that offer similar incentives. As I noted in my statement (which was curiously buried by The Daily Caller – whose editor-in-chief was recently called on the carpet for publicly using a degrading term to describe women), I can’t speak for the film tax credit programs in other states, but the program in Alaska has been effective. The bipartisan legislation I signed into law in 2008 was borne out of elected lawmakers’ frustration with the fact that shows and films about Alaska were mostly filmed elsewhere. They wanted to incentivize production companies to film in Alaska instead of Canada, Washington state, or Maine. Their bill worked, and as the legislation’s supporters will testify, the state’s economy enjoys the benefits of having this production money circulating right here at home. It was so successful that state lawmakers now want to renew the film production tax credits for another ten years.

Keep in mind that we don’t have a state income tax, state sales tax, or state property tax in Alaska. Our state government is predominately funded by oil and gas revenue. Essentially we are using revenue generated from the development of Alaska’s natural resources in order to diversify our economy and create jobs beyond just resource development. Not only does this help promote a new film industry in Alaska, it obviously also has the added benefit of encouraging our tourism industry. These shows and films about Alaska act as perfect tourist advertisements for our state. People come here to experience what they see on the shows filmed here. The dramatic increase in Alaska-based television shows and films are testament to the fact that this legislation worked, and it’s exciting to see our state showcased and appreciated. There has been more film productions here than ever before, and the economic benefit of filming here exceeds the tax credit.

And another point missed by this reporter: apparently The Daily Caller’s conspiracy theory must be that I did all of this not even to benefit myself but Mark Burnett Productions. As I tried to explain to the writer at The Daily Caller, if you believe in this bizarre scenario then why not ask the sponsors, drafters, and supporters of this legislation that would boost job creation if they crafted this bill years ago in order to benefit Sarah Palin.

Any suggestion that I somehow did something wrong by signing this legislation is ridiculous. The accusation hinges on the notion that I signed the legislation into law knowing that it would personally benefit me. That’s totally absurd. It wasn’t even my bill, and obviously I had no intention of benefiting from it when I signed it into law in 2008 because I had no idea I would be involved in a documentary series years later. If you’re going to accuse me of benefiting from legislation I signed into law, why stop there?

Go ahead and accuse me of "benefiting" from the legislation my administration actually did craft – like for example, our oil and gas evaluation legislation (ACES).

You could say I "benefited" from it in the sense that due to ACES the state where I live (Alaska) now enjoys a $12 billion surplus. In fact, you could say that as an Alaskan, I benefited from all of the legislation I championed or signed as governor – just as every Alaskan benefited.

As I also tried to tell the reporter, it’s also a false accusation to suggest that signing this bipartisan bill somehow goes against my position on the proper role of government. I’ve said many times that government can play an appropriate role in incentivizing business, creating infrastructure, and leveling the playing field to foster competition so the market picks winners and losers, instead of bureaucrats burdening businesses and picking winners and losers.

Again, I can’t speak for what other states do, but Alaska’s film production tax credit program was an effective way to incentivize a new industry that would diversify our economy. It worked.

The lawmakers’ successful legislation fit Alaska’s economy, as our economy is quite unique from other states’ due to our oil and gas revenue. Perhaps it would behoove people to learn much more about the 49th state’s young economy before making broad accusations about the efficacy of business programs. People who live in ivory towers don’t understand the real world where governors and lawmakers actually have to fight to attract business and jobs to their states.

One final thought: having to set the record straight on my Facebook page yet again is further proof that the media can’t be trusted even to print a statement in a manner that people can read.

You know the detractors of Sarah Palin are getting desperate when this is all they have left to bang her over the head with.

Anyone who watches TLC, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and National Geographic knows the tax credits that were created during Sarah's time as Governor are working like a charm. You have shows like The Deadliest Catch on Discovery, Ice Road truckers and Axe Men on the History Channel, and Alaska State Troopers on National Geographic, just to name a few. These shows, and others, have brought the magnificent state of Alaska into the world's living room. No doubt it's helped the local economies, as production crews spend money, and helped the state's tourism business.

Before this was done, many shows about Alaska were filmed elsewhere. As Sarah points out, Canada and Washington have been used as stand-ins for Alaska. Most famously, the 1990's hit television show Northern Exposure, which starred Janine Turner and Rob Morrow. The Golden Globe winning series was set in the fictional town Cicely, Alaska, but was actually filmed in Roslyn, Washington.

Many cities and states have film commissions that offer tax incentives to production companies. There is a lot of filming in and around Austin, Texas, for example. There is a vibrant film industry in the city because of the credits offers.

Hollywood was built on it. New York City has a film commission. And lest you think this isn't necessary, one needs to remember that a lot of TV shows, especially those set in eastern cities, have been filmed in Canada, where it's cheaper to film, and the government not only offers tax credits, but often cash incentives as well. Which brings us to the next point, tax credits [or tax exemptions, if you will] are not monies paid out, but simply tax monies not collected.

These incentives work. They attract filmmakers to Alaska. [or wherever they are offered] In turn, these filmmakers, their cast and crew, spend money in the local economy. And of course, in the case of the sort of shows coming out of Alaska, most definitely attract tourists.

The small tax credit the production company that created Sarah Palin's Alaska received is chump change considering the advertising benefit the state's tourism bureau received.

In world of sports marketing there is a firm called Joyce Julius & Associates. Their focus is analyzing the number of "impressions" someone watching an event gets of a sponsor's product. This is especially effective in NASCAR and NHRA Drag Racing.

JJ&A looks at how many times a viewer is exposed to the sponsor's product, and even grades the quality of the exposure. Time on the air, placement of the sponsor's logo, and other criteria is used. JJ&A will then write detailed reports for the sponsors, who use these reports to evaluate whether or not they are getting their money's worth from their marketing partnership with any given team.

When you look at the nine episodes of Sarah Palin's Alaska, and add up the total high quality impressions of Alaska's natural beauty the viewer was treated to, I'd say the state of Alaska come out way ahead. The same can't be said for Tucker Carlson and his rag, The Daily Caller.

Sarah Palin: NY Times, There You Go Again!

The New York Times ran a story on Sarah Palin, and as usual, got most of the facts wrong. Though there is a lot more to come, Mama Grizzly herself has a few choice words for the editors at the Times: [emphasis mine]

The New York Times just can’t seem to get much of anything right lately. No wonder they’re facing economic and reputation woes. Their article today falsely reporting on my record as governor is full of spin, and I shall call them out on it.

Regardless of the recent political posturing, ACES (Alaska’s Clear and Equitable Share) is a success for all stakeholders who want more domestic energy supplies for our great country. The Alaskan people (who collectively own the natural resources, via our state constitution), the resource producers who bid on the right to develop our oil and gas, and consumers all benefit under ACES. It incentivizes production and development. It works.

Amazingly, to the uninformed (or to those who really don’t want to incentivize oil exploration in America) ACES is spun to sound like an oil windfall profits tax and its progressivity is made to sound excessive. In reality, it was born of a need to have a tax structure that did three things:

1. It could not be created under a cloud of political corruption and self-dealing like the former Alaska administration and legislature’s PPT oil valuation structure. That’s a critical fact that is now frequently overlooked years later. Remember the legislators and oil industry players who went to jail because of bribes leading to votes in favor of the former administration’s PPT, which was unfairly tilted in favor of the resource producers against the resource owners (i.e., the people of Alaska)? Have we conveniently forgotten the fact that a corrupt process brought forth PPT, and I and others set out to change it by cleaning up the corruption?

2. It had to align the interests of Alaskans and the oil producers through exploration and production credits in partnership so that they benefit proportionally from commercialization of Alaska’s sovereign resources. This is very different from a government overtaxing personal or corporate income in which the government has no ownership stake in whatever it is that is being taxed.

3. It had to use a progressivity system that protects the producers from commercial strain when oil prices are low; otherwise the producers would seek development opportunities elsewhere. ACES does incentivize industry, but beware that Big Oil will always do what it does best for its shareholders: it will look out for its bottom line and always claim that it needs even more tax breaks. More power to them for trying, but resource owners deserve A CLEAR and EQUITABLE SHARE (ACES) of the value of their commonly-owned oil and gas.


ACES accomplished all three. The current criticism of this fair valuation makes no real sense. As an article at Big Government notes:

"The number of oil companies filing with the Alaska Department of Revenue has doubled indicating that competition has indeed increased. Alaska has the second most business friendly tax set-up — up two spots since the passage of ACES. Additionally, a report from Governor Parnell’s Department of Revenue indicated that 2009 yielded a record high in oil jobs. Even more recently, the newest employment numbers from Alaska show that oil job numbers were higher in January 2011 than in January 2010, indicating that jobs are growing at the seasonal level. Parnell argues that state revenues are in jeopardy, but it is estimated that his proposal would reduce revenues by $100-200 million."

Most importantly, Alaska enjoys a $12 billion surplus thanks to ACES and the sound fiscal policies of my administration. I put billions of dollars aside in savings accounts (though I could have easily spent those billions and made a lot of friends with big-spending legislators on both sides of the aisle), and I continued to veto excess spending and Obama stimulus funds, and chopped earmarks by 86% – much to the chagrin of liberal legislators who were used as "sources" in the article. It’s kind of amusing to see state legislators claim credit for the surplus when they didn’t vote for ACES, and they cried to high heaven when I vetoed their wasteful spending on their special interest projects.

Of course, I could have made a lot more friends in Juneau if I had spent the surplus. But I chose to put billions in savings for a rainy day and return a portion to the people of Alaska. (It was their money after all.) I paid down hundreds of millions of dollars into our under-funded state pension plans, then set aside another billion for forward-funding education. I fought the union’s demands for more benefits, engaged in hiring freezes, and cut frivolous state expenditures – again, much to the chagrin of those who spend other people’s money recklessly. That’s sound fiscal policy. I’m proud of it, and Alaska is stronger today because of it.

Now, if others would like to claim credit for it, that is fine. As Ronald Reagan used to remind us: "There is not limit to what a man can do or where he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit." Amen!

But let’s not pretend that ACES wasn’t a key factor in the surplus, and let’s not pretend that it hasn’t been a success.

As for AGIA, our long-awaited natural gas pipeline project is moving along according to plan. A huge partnership was developed with Exxon and TransCanada when I put the project out for competitive bids, instead of using behind-closed-door schemes that would have screwed the public. Alaska will help America become energy independent, despite anti-energy politicos claiming AGIA won't work. It’s already got the 50-year dream off the dime and in the works. See, competition works. So does a transparent process.

Sarah's ACES program revolutionized the way Big Oil did business with Alaska, weeded out massive corruption, and not only put more money in the Alaskan people's pockets [by law they own the oil] but also made it easier for the oil companies to make money. It was a huge win-win for everyone concerned.

The radical left and the Republican establishment are working overtime to do anything and everything they can to stop Sarah Palin before 2012. Frankly, we can understand why the left wants to stop her. Sarah Palin is the greatest threat to radical Marxism the left has ever known. Sarah has the ability, and the backing of the American people, to stop the Marxist ideology dead in it's tracks. And not just stop it's forward progression either. She has the ability to send the radical packing. To end their ability to influence policy.

Of course, the Republican elites know Sarah will take them on as well, just like she did in Alaska. That's why the GOP and their errand boys are spending more time attacking Sarah, and other Common Sense Conservatives, than going after the real bad guys: Obama and his band of Marxist thugs.

The 2012 election is going to be something like we have never seen. In a lot of ways, it will be like 1980. Reagan not only had to defeat Jimmy Carter, and the media, he too had to defeat the Republican elites. These Republicans, were so afraid of losing their little power bases that even after they forced George H.W. Bush on Reagan as V.P., they STILL ran Illinois Congressman John Anderson, as a 3rd party candidate for president!

In 2012, Sarah Palin will not only have to defeat Barack Obama and his media partners, but the "good old boy" Republican elites as well. These establishment hacks, who are just as responsible for the mess we are in as the democrats, must be soundly defeated. They won't go without a fight.

Sarah took on the "good old boys" in Alaska and ripped them to shreds. We have no doubt she can bring her A game with her in 2012 and do the same thing on a national level.

Won't be easy though. We'll all have to do our part to make it happen.

Sarah Palin Crushes Time Magazine Over Their Lies

Sarah Palin's recent email to Time Magazine Congressional Correspondent Jay Newton-Small started off congenial enough. The mood soon shifted dramatically when Gov. Palin attacked the magazine over the "total lies" that had been published about her. Included in her email is not only a call for a retraction of the false stories, but a demand for an apology to Fox News' Sean Hannity and Christina Aguilera who were both included in the story Time ran. The text of the email follows:

Subject: Great job, MSM!

Jay - pls tell your bosses there at Time Magazine thank you for the invitations to attend the upcoming functions. I'll sure put a lot of thought into those invitations.

Then, have your editors retract Time's most recent ridiculous lies about me supposedly giving Sean Hannity a radio interview wherein I supposedly talked about Christina Aguilera (that I slammed her for her Nat'l Anthem mistake, and called for her deportation, etc). You guys were fooled into running a fake story that even US Weekly pulled and apologized for their blunder. Total lies - and you guys (once again) even put quotation marks around things I have never uttered.

Then, Time needs to run an apology to Christina along with the retraction. (Add Hannity in your apology, too...those good folks don't deserve to be in a caustic, untrue story about me.) Thanks much - keep up the great work, Time Magazine."

Last May, Sarah was named by Time Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world. No doubt the invitations she's talking about are to yet another function where she will be honored.

As Stacy Drake reported last week, both Us Weekly and Time Magazine were duped by a satire website that made up a story about Sarah Palin trashing Christine Aguilera's performance at the Superbowl, when she flubbed the National Anthem. They claimed she did this in a radio interview with Sean Hannity.

Of course, the story was a lie, and the radio interview never happened. Neither Us Weekly nor Time bothered to contact Sarah or Sean for their "reporting." They just did what many lazy, corrupt "journalists" do these days: Copy and paste.

These "satire" websites are popping up all over. No doubt due to the success of The Onion News Network. The problem is, more and more so-called "journalists", as well as some regular people, are thinking these stories are real. In my news alerts there are three or four "satire" pieces a week on Sarah Palin alone!

This isn't the first time a "journalist" has fallen for one of these fake stories either. They do it often.

When all of the chaos in Egypt started, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow gleefully reported that Sarah Palin was calling for the U.S. to invade the country. For full out war. Of course, Maddow got her information from a "satire" website that put that out story.

Maddow, a glittering jewel of colossal ignorance, and the prototypical MSNBC on air "talent" was called out immediately and ridiculed as she should have been. Her excuse? "Glenn Beck made me do it!" That's right, the left wing loon blamed it all on Glenn Beck!

Here's the deal: At this point, if you see something reported by the media, especially something about a Conservative, you should verify it before you believe it. Today's "journalists" are lazy and corrupt. They will print anything to hurt a Conservative as fact, without doing a second of research, or follow up.They have an agenda, and since their integrity and reputation went out the door long ago, they have nothing to lose by becoming nothing more than propaganda machines.

Just a few weeks back the National Enquirer ran a story that Sarah's husband was having an affair, something that ended up forcing the Anchorage police department to publicly deny, as the person named, was under police investigation. The Enquirer had no evidence, just an anonymous tip from one of those throw away email accounts. The tipster went by "palinmorals." We have a few ideas about the who, what, and where, but since we can't prove it, we'll leave it at that.

Journalism is dead in America. I mean dead. The media has abused it's Constitutional right to free speech by being sloppy, corrupt, and pathetic. America deserves better. Much better.

Violent Racist "Progressives": Lynch Justice Clarence Thomas, Murder Fox News' Roger Ailes, Call For Violent Revolution

Christian Hartsock put this video together showcasing the violent, hateful tendencies of left wing mobs. This was filmed at an "Uncloaking the Kochs" rally sponsored by the Soros funded Common Cause, AFFCE, The Ruckus Society, 350, Greenpeace, Code Pink, the Progressive Democrats of America, and others. It was staged outside of the Koch Brothers conference in Palm Springs.

You'll notice Jim Hightower and self-described Communist revolutionary [and former White House "Green Jobs" czar] Van Jones, speaking inside at the beginning. Then Hartsock moves outside and elicits comments from attendees.

He specifically asks what should be done to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The answers are quite revealing. One person wants Thomas, a black man, "strung up." Another says "send him back to the fields!". One lady who says she's "all about peace" wants the Justice tortured. Another girl wants his toes cut off and fed to him! Yet another wants Justice Thomas' wife, Ginny, strung up as well.

Oh, and Justice Antonin Scalia, according to one protester should "go back to Sicily!" 

One "loving and tolerant" liberal wants Fox News head Roger Ailes "murdered."

Yet another calls for violent revolution, "like in Egypt."

In the land of the progressives, if you disagree with their warped and diseased view of the world, it's quite acceptable to call for your death.

It should be known the far left, Soros funded  "Common Cause" was there protesting "rich Conservatives" but as Hartsock, writing for Big Government points out, the hypocrisy on the left knows no bounds:

Unfortunately several "haves" have missed the memo that you’re not to be both rich and conservative at the same time, and that bankrolling your pet causes is an extra no-no if you’re conservative—thus exempting left-wing billionaire philanthropists George Soros (from whom Common Cause has received $2 million over the past eight years) Peter Lewis, John Doerr, Julian Robertson, Nicolas Berggruen, and many others from being yelled at too.

At the morning panel event featuring UCI Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, activist Jim Hightower, Center for American Progress journalist and "Koch Brothers expert" Lee Fang, California Nurses Association co-president DeAnn McEwan, and President Obama’s former green jobs czar Van Jones, we were forewarned of the impending demise of both the environment and democracy at the hands of corporate lobbyists and their government shills.

There was eerily no mention of GE, AEP, Goldmann Sachs, Pfizer, Aetna, Alcoa, Xerox, Google, Motorola, IBM, or several other corporate giants who profit at taxpayer expense via their K Street connections to the Obama White House as well as the very economic and regulatory policies they lobby that these Common Cause panelists commonly endorse. But I’m sure that’s only because no one wanted to point out the obvious. Right?

We were then ushered outside to the parking lot across from the hotel in which the Koch brothers were holding a meeting, whereupon we were encouraged to yell at the building, decrying not only the Kochs, but Justices Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia for their Citizens United ruling. Oh, and Fox News while we were at it.

In the aftermath of the Tuscon massacre, the blood libel media, and the democrat party, couldn't contain themselves. Before the paramedics were there to attend to the wounded, before any information about the shooter was known, the left wing, in concert, blamed Sarah Palin and the 40 million members of the Tea Party for the actions of a mad man, who as it turns out, was a left winger himself.

The killer, Jared Lee Loughner, had been stalking Congresswoman Giffords for years. Long before the Tea Party was formed, or anyone knew who Sarah Palin was.

The fact is, Congresswoman Gifford was targeted by the website Daily Kos. A bull's-eye was put on her by the far left website's radical founder, Markos Moulitsas. She was targeted as a "sell out" to the left wing cause. Congresswoman Giffords is a "blue dog" democrat. Loughner was also angered that she wasn't radical enough.

Still, knowing these facts, the left continues to blood libel the Tea Party and Sarah Palin. Continues to stoke hate and violence.

The thing is, any time you hear calls for violence, or revolution, it's from the left. They have a long, dark history of hate, violence, racism, and attempts at violent revolution.

It's not the Tea Party or Sarah Palin that people need to keep a close eye on, it's the racist, violent "progressive" movement. Their world is coming apart. The American people are rejecting every bit of the "progressive" [socialist] agenda. They won't go away quietly.

Politico's Andy Barr Caught Red-Handed "Making Things Up" About Sarah Palin

The corrupt, left wing media is at it again. Andy Barr, a "journalist" reports an absolute lie at the so-called "political news site" Politico. At least this time he names a source, highly unusually for a website that's famous for smearing Sarah Palin, and others, by quoting "unnamed sources."

Barr used the lie to further the blood libel that somehow Sarah was responsible for the mass murders in Tuscon, even though that has been totally discredited. This is what Barr writes:

Her speech last night to the Safari Club in Reno was closed press, but thanks to the Reno Gazette-Journal's David Jacobs putting his ear to a closed door, we’re hearing the former Alaska governor’s new line.

Palin dropped the "reload" phrase from her routine, telling the audience of hunters "don't retreat, stand tall" — a shift from her now infamous and well-known "don't retreat, reload" line that played on a loop on cable in the after the Tucson shooting.

In the wake of the tragedy, Palin came under attack for having put Giffords's district in crosshairs on her website.

In Reno, Palin also spoke in favor of gun rights and of her love of hunting, telling the crowd that hunting and fishing is part of American "exceptionalism."

This is, of course, not true. Almost as soon as this BS story broke, a member of Free Republic, SFMom, posted that she attended the event and Sarah not only used her and her dad's trademark line: "Don't retreat, reload" but used it several times.

Rebecca Mansour, who works for Sarah, confirmed via Twitter that the Politico story is "inaccurate" and Sarah indeed used her trademark line.

Is it just me, or is anyone else just a little pissed off this twerp put the word: "exceptionalism" as in AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM, in quotes?

How cosmopolitan of Barr.

Now some people may be asking "what's the big deal?"

Well, there are several. One, this lie creates the false narrative that maybe somehow Sarah feels guilty for an event she had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH, or that maybe she is somehow "effected" or even "cowed" by the attacks on her from the vile left wing media, and the democrat party.

It also gives Barr a chance to continue the lies and blood libel from the Tuscon shootings. To plant that little seed again, that Sarah IS responsible, AND now maybe realizes it herself. That's how these corrupt bastards work.

We make it habit of never believing a single thing written on the pages of Politico .... ever. We always consider anything they write an outright lie, unless it can be verified through many other sources, independently.

It should be noted that while Barr himself may not have been a member of the left wing media conspiracy known as JournoList, Politico is lousy with corrupt JournoListers. Many who have conspired to write false stories about Sarah Palin, and cover up damaging stories about Barack Obama.

The bottom is Sarah Palin has NOT retreated and has ALREADY reloaded. She's loaded for bear and ready to take on the entire bunch.

This little story does, however, serve to remind Americans nationwide that our media is corrupt, and can no longer be trusted.
